What would you do with 10k??

Soo I’m having a day dream

What would you do if somehow 10k magically became yours?

I think I’d buy a new sofa and be boring and shove the rest in savings

Oh and some new books 📚 and a bookcase

Clear all debts, go on a holiday and give the rest to my sister who's having a hard time. One can dream!

Buy a car, I feel like I'm pushing my luck with mine!

Stick it all in the house deposit savings account.

We are moving house and family have given us £10k. The answer is hemorrhage it. Fees to solicitors, agents, upcoming works to communal areas that we have to pay to stop the buyer pulling out. May as well have just set fire to the money.

Pay off a chunk of mortgage

Not long after I left exh I was left 10k. Spent it in 3 days paying off debt and basics for new rental... Exh never knew I had it!!

Treat my friends to a holiday in a gorgeous villa with a chef.

New carpets
Haircut
Overnight break with a nanny for the kids and night feeds!!!!

Buy a car! DH's is really on its last legs so we'd spend a good chunk of 10k on a car.

The rest can just go into the house fund pot - we've so much renovating and redecorating to do, and every spare pound helps.

My local council is giving £10k energy grants for eligible people. I'm one of those 'people' so my £10k is going on solar panels and some new windows! (Tbh if someone handed me £10k I wouldn't rush to spend it on that!)

10k I'd save it...

I like to dream about winning the euro millions...buying a house in the middle of nowhere, stables and fields for my Dds, setting up a little sandwich shop by the sea...its my happy place thinking when I can't sleep.

Oh, and doing a 'Pretty Woman' in Selfridge's....

Pay off some debts
Then either a cheap runaround car for me or a little holiday.

New fridge, air fryer and a new second hand car as mine is clinging on!

Pay off debts (4k)
Week away somewhere with the bf, week away with the kids..(2k, I'm not fancy, air BnB would do)
Save the rest for when my car inevitably breaks down!

Buy premium bonds.

Buy a new car, my ones old and falling apart and I need it to be able to work. I'm really worried what I will do if it dies soon.

Pay off credit card, buy car, go on holiday. Actually 10k might not cover all that!

Buy an Everhot range for our new house. We can technically afford, but not justify it, so a unexpected £10k would basically cover it!

Buy a car and put whatever is left then towards our wedding next year.

Would clear debts and thats it bit that would be a huge huge help as interest we will pay paying it off would prob save another £2000

I thought this was a thread about running.

I would get a dog and use the 10k for its upkeep and vet bills.

Take my daughter (2yo) on an amazing holiday (potentially disney world) with the hubby.

And pay off debts / get a new car! ☺️

Probably would want to get a facelift which would be be totally irresponsible so I actually wouldn't
