Can someone explain what my son saw?

My DS (14) and his friends went for a walk deep in the woods yesterday. They came across four people standing in a circle with candles and markings on the ground. Two were dressed in all black, very smart, like priests. The other two were in normal clothes and were bleeding from their arms. My son said he saw them cut themselves, they were mumbling something inaudible while the two in all black held their arms in the air and chanted. When they realised they were being watched one of the people in black told the boys they were going to cut their heads off if they don’t leave. I know it’s true because one of the kids filmed it and I’ve watched it. Wtf!?

There is a mountain of evidence to demonstrate that they are politically motivated and I posted some links in case you wanted to educate yourself about this.

@Ibelieveinghosts just to clarify. I have at no point, not once, mentioned satanists. And yes, I would say that four people standing in a circle/square/insert shape in the middle of the woods chanting with their arms in the air might seem odd to some. Maybe not to you but to most.

Equally - don't read posts here if they spur you to cut and paste spamming on a thread dedicated to a personal issue.

I couldn't care less about people chanting in the woods nor about whether their hands are help up or not, whether they are wearing robes or any other details.

It's the claims about blood and the threats to harm boys that I think are the relevant issue here. If true

You are correct about the "personal issue" bit

I know a great deal about real abusive cults as well as about fake imaginary cults and SRA hoaxes.

I have been immensely harmed by cults and by SRA obsessed mental health professionals (who are in their own vile cult).

However my experiences are highly relevant to this thread and thus not spamming.

I am interested in your dedication to the cause of stopping me posting here. I am running late and need to take a break but replying to your posts is actually keeping me here so your efforts are counterproductive in fact

It's not controlling to suggest that if privacy is important they don't use public land. I don't care what they do but issuing death threats is not on.

@Ibelieveinghosts No, actually I really didn’t want to but many posters asked me to, repeatedly! Again, I have never mentioned satantists, what others say really isn’t my problem. I haven’t weighed in on any of the satanism chat and I certainly haven’t added to it. Yes, obviously I thought something bad was going on! People were cutting themselves and threatening children in a public space. If you want to behave like that in public I don’t think it’s unreasonable for other members of the public to have an opinion about it. If this was done on private ground this thread wouldn’t even exist.

So is it ok for a bloke to stand next to a public playground filming kids? Surely if privacy is important they could play in their back garden?

No, it will not "invoke the Streisand effect" as there is no attempt at hiding anything or calling for secrecy. A squabble between two posters is unlikely to draw more attention to this thread than it would otherwise receive. It just makes the squabbling posters look silly.

If the DS was an adult we can say fair enough no filming but it's a group of children. I wouldn't have punished him OP, seems a scary incident for a 14 yo

If you are going to stand around in public woods chanting and cutting yourself and threatening to cut children's heads off, then you are going to get filmed. If you want it to be private do it on private property.

Four people standing opposite each other. The person on the left is wearing a black cloak and dress combination and something like a hood over their face. On their right is a person wearing a large white t-shirt and black leggings. To that person's right is a person dressed all in black (reminds me a bit of Robert Smith of The Cure in his later years, bless him) while there is a fourth person, who cannot be seen but for a second or two, wears a long black cloak lined in purple.

Black cloak raises their left hand to approximately the height of their face. Purple cloak swings their arm down to their side. White t-shirt, whose left hand has been resting on their left hip, raises their left hand. Mr Smith stands still.

It looks more than anything else like they are voting: "OK. Who wants to go to Starbucks? Hands up everyone who does."

At least half of the video is either blurred motion or the camera pointing at the ground or at foliage.

@silveryslade You do realise that thr term paganism encompasses thousands of different Religions? so I wouldn't say blood sacrifice or cannibalism are common, especially not in the modern day. But don't that get in the way of your evangelising.
