Can someone explain what my son saw?

My DS (14) and his friends went for a walk deep in the woods yesterday. They came across four people standing in a circle with candles and markings on the ground. Two were dressed in all black, very smart, like priests. The other two were in normal clothes and were bleeding from their arms. My son said he saw them cut themselves, they were mumbling something inaudible while the two in all black held their arms in the air and chanted. When they realised they were being watched one of the people in black told the boys they were going to cut their heads off if they don’t leave. I know it’s true because one of the kids filmed it and I’ve watched it. Wtf!?

It's a black magic ritual by the sounds of it, blood letting is warned against with white magic, so they are up to no good whether you believe in it or not. I'd be wary of my kids being alone in woods with anyone of the mentality to want to perform black magic rituals. You don't have to believe in it to know that makes those people pretty twisted

@RockinHorseShit This is quite offensive. I'm sure some 'white witches' do sometimes use blood, and in decades of involvement in the occult scene I've never heard anyone warn against it.

What I have heard people suggest (and I sometimes do myself) is to use a diabetic lancet and just get a drop of blood. That way you aren't at risk of harm particularly, if that's what you mean by people warning against it.

Black and white magic is pretty much a false dichotomy, most white witches do all sorts of spells.

Someone doesn't have to be a twisted and evil person to practice left-hand-path spirituality- that's quite insulting. I can't imagine you'd think it ok to say stuff like that about people from other religions.

@Mummyoflittledragon I got into it because I heard about it and thought it as weird as hell. Like 'How could anyone want to worship Satan?' Intellectual curiosity drove me to learn more about it and then I eventually got into it.

Some people just 'become' one by prayers, a personal relationship with Satan I suppose, but most people do an initiation ritual (usually by themselves as there aren't many groups in most areas.)

The initiation ritual would tend to involve utterly renouncing YHVH god, (who we think is actually evil- it's not necessariily that we are choosing to worship evil, more often it's that we think the bible is propaganda for Yahweh, and Satan and his demons are lovely, just misunderstood.)

Then the person would pledge allegiance to Satan. This may involve signing their name in blood (I would actually use a normal pen, then just dab/squeeze a drop of blood after using a lancet, onto where I've signed.)

Diane Vera has a lot of stuff on her website, but has altered what's there maybe. theisticsatanism.com/rituals/pact/pact-init.html#oath There's also an organization called the Joy of Satan, who are dodgy but have a lot of info about ritual etc on their site.

Anythig else you'd like to ask? x

@HereForThis, it's how people decide what is good and bad which I am questioning since there are huge individual and cultural variations in this and variations throughout history.

So for instance, a Christian believer will base what they see as good and bad in relation to their understanding of God. For a Pagan the Christian God will not be recognised or accepted as an arbitrator of good and bad since they worship different god(s) / things. For an atheist it will be different again.

Urban legend is if you say his name 3 times in the mirror whilst sipping a Nespresso, Clooney will appear to you.

It bloody didn't work @urbanbuddha but I'm giving you the benefit of time zone difference for now.

Failing that it's incantationtastic for you.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 17/10/2021 20:20

Shameless placemarking

HerRoyalWitchyness · 17/10/2021 20:20

Satan and his demons are lovely, just misunderstood. they supposedly spend their time punishing evil doers, murderers rapists etc, so they can't be that bad if they're the ones dishing out punishment Wink

HereForThis · 17/10/2021 20:23

@silveryslade I see what you're saying. My posts weren't addressing that particular point but I agree with you that different people have different interpretation of what's bad or good, based on cultural influences and individual beliefs.

me4real · 17/10/2021 20:26

@HerRoyalWitchyness I imagine hell as just cosy and warm. Sitting by the fireside with my Father and brethren. Grin

It was the Tory party summoning Maggie for guidance.

me4real · 17/10/2021 20:26

And of course unlike Yahweh, Satan accepts everyone. Smile

@me4real

No offence intended at all, but my decades growing up with the craft & family members practitioners too say otherwise

"Do no harm" extends to self too, plus blood magic is more powerful & unpredictable, so definitely not recommended as a rule in my experience or teaching

LuluJakey1 · 17/10/2021 20:33

I don't like this at all. I would be very scared if I came across this while I was out walking.

RockinHorseShit · 17/10/2021 20:33

& my black & white witch references aren't actually ones I like or use myself, but an easier way to explain a difference in practice

silveryslade · 17/10/2021 20:34

Well, God accepts everyone who seeks to be in agreement with Him. In heaven there is unity.

As you said @me4real in Hell there is no such requirement. So I expect there would be conflict....heated conflict.

Tiramiwho · 17/10/2021 20:37

Keep popping back when I have a minute and this still has me in stitches.
Thanks @Yaya26 🤣

HerRoyalWitchyness · 17/10/2021 20:38

@me4real I have a theory. Either God's the all forgiving, loving kind God of the new testament and we'll all be welcomed into heaven, or he's the jealous, vicious God of the old testament in which case I'd rather be in hell anyways.
I'm a very bad Catholic. Grin

HerRoyalWitchyness · 17/10/2021 20:40

@silveryslade but conflict is natural. You won't get in with every single person who makes it to heaven. According to God if you repent and are truly sorry he'll welcome you with open arms so there could well be child molesters sat costing it up in heaven. At least in hell they get punished for their crimes.

silveryslade · 17/10/2021 20:45

@HerRoyalWitchyness, indeed and God is supernatural. Whether you are in agreement with who God accepts into Heaven depends on how you view forgiveness, restoration, reformation and healing of all that is wrong in people.

YourFinestPantaloons · 17/10/2021 20:45

Those screenshots alone have seriously given me the creeps.

Hope your son is OK OP. Well done for him filming it!

YourFinestPantaloons · 17/10/2021 20:47

So many weird responses on here playing down what the boys saw.

I bet if it was the OP's daughter and female friends and not son, who'd seen this, everybody would be recommending trauma counselling Hmm

HerRoyalWitchyness · 17/10/2021 20:49

@silveryslade that's the thing. I believe there are some crimes that can't be forgiven. Child abuse being one of them.

iklboo · 17/10/2021 20:50

sorry am I misunderstanding or are you claiming that you can do magic spells and get results from them?

And don't Christians believe in the power of prayer? What's the difference?

HerRoyalWitchyness · 17/10/2021 20:52

And don't Christians believe in the power of prayer? What's the difference? Exactly. There is no difference. When I first got into tarot cards I was told to ask a higher power for help, that higher power being whatever you believe in. For some that's God, for others satan and others it's nature and the earth itself.
