Hurty hair?

Does anyone else get this? Usually when it needs washing. But if I part my hair in a different way it's a weird mix of pain and pleasure.

Am I odd or is this a thing?

My hair hurts if I put it up too tight or wear it up for too long. It's definitely a thing

Yes! Mine is normally if I’ve had it tied up for a while and then take it down - it hurts to move it

Yes, I get that. I went thru a phase of styling my hair in more various ways and the sensation much reduced /went away. Currently have it parted in the same place each day and it's back when I change the hair into a direction it isn't used to. Must be a scalp thing.

Yes! Or if I've slept on it slightly damp and it goes all kinky at the crown and the parting goes weird. It sort of hurts to touch. It's why I hate washing my hair at night.

Yessss mine does it even if I just wear it up in a pony tail too long 😩 taking it down is relief but pain!

I know exactly what you mean. I sort of push my hair forward and it feels like every hair follical is moving- weird pleasure/pain

Yea get this all the time. Like bruised hair/scalp feeling. Such a relief taking a ponytail out but it fucking hurts, and yeah I do get abit of pleasure out of it to be fair. Just like shooty bum.

yes, usually if I try something different with my hair, like ponytail in a different position.

It’s so bizarre, sometimes it can be up for days and fine, sometimes you get it after having your hair up half an hour. Or even changing my parting! It’s a nuisance

Definitely, it's like my scalp feels slightly swollen and irritated? Happens more when I need to wash my hair.
