Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my first coffee of the day. I've been sitting at my kitchen table, listening to the birds outside & scrolling MN.

The washer's on, and second load's sorted for when that finishes. The rest of the house is ok for today.

We're off for a wander to a very local craft fair today, for a couple of hours. Not sure what sort of stalls there'll be, the advert didn't say, but I'm looking forward to it. I still need to print the tickets though!

We've got pork loin steaks for tea, with garlic & parmesan roast potatoes and salad. And a glass of wine for me.

I expect the girls will Minecraft the evening away after being out & I'll watch some more Once Upon A Time while deciding what to crochet next.

Still lazing in bed. DH is downstairs cooking breakfast, DD is playing in her room, she has a riding lesson this afternoon and then it'll be steak for dinner with a bottle of pink champagne which needs using before I'm not allowed to drink anymore. Probably Strictly and a relatively early night. All very boring!

I have been busy like mad for the last 2 weeks, but now I am on my first of 14 days leave.
As it is Saturday I do my part of the housework, DH already did the food shop and meal planning.
DD is preparing for full f2f uni going into her 5th semester after doing 3 semester online.

We were supposed to be going out for a walk but kids still in bed so no idea. Need to replace back door so need to make some time to go see those over the weekend. I want it in before the weather really drops.

I'm off to collect ds from football. Dh is with other ds to a different training session. I had a bad week at work so allowing myself a little cry and get if over with.
Going to plant some bulbs. Have new aldi bath foam that looks lovely.
Have a rug I need to Dr Beckham (clean)
Strictly and wine tonight.

I just went for a run then ruined it by having a McDonald’s breakfast. Later I’m going to see my dad in the hospital and hopefully walk on the beach

On second coffee of the day , doing a zoom ballet class with Pineapple dance , taking dog squirrel chasing in Hyde Park , blowdry at hairdresser , reading a paper , probably a bit of token tidying up then like another poster watching Strictly

Up since 6, have walked the dog.
We are going to Spain tomorrow, so I need to finish packing before I go to work until 9 this evening.

I've just had my brekky, its wet and miserable outside. I really wanted to go a run today (in the car), but will see if it improves. Dh on his phone, ds still asleep.

Swimming lesson, homework, lunch then a long canal walk and home for pizza / movie.

Food shopping coming in a few hours, I'll do the ironing whilst the kids watch their film and I'll have a glass (or 3) of Rioja later.

Had a lay in til half 9. Now slowly starting some housework while dh cooks sausages for sandwiches. We will be visiting my nan this afternoon before coming home for pizza and strictly. Very excited for that!

Morning! Went out for a meal with DH last night; 3 glasses of wine and a cocktail so I’m feeling a bit 🥴

DH has taken DD to a morning toddler group, I’m currently lounging on the sofa drinking coffee & browsing the internet. After lunch and naptime (DD, not me!) we’ll head out for a beach walk or the local petting farm.

This evening I plan to do some beauty maintenance - fake tan, do my nails, tint my eyebrows in front of Netflix with a Baileys hot choc ☕️

I'm enjoying the peace of an empty house - drinking tea and doing a few rows of my knitting. I need to go out later and pick DS up as he's been helping at a school event. I'm also putting off the laundry until tomorrow so I can chuck today's uniform in.

Tesco shop this afternoon and I'm going to my DDs house to drop their dinner off later. They could come here but DH will be watching the rugby final so they are staying home where they can watch Strictly in peace.

The Dcs are on a gaming ban so they are watching spiderman.

DH has gone to meet some friends for a bike ride that will take the whole day [yawn]

I am still in my pyjamas. But I got up at 5.30 and have made a lasagne for tonight and baked a loaf of cheese and chilli bread.

Later i will take the Dcs for a hot chocolate at a place where they also serve martinis.

We have some homework to sort and I need to book our swinning slot for tomorrow.

Family outing to watch the local rugby team play later, plus 2 dogs. Probably a couple of pints in the clubhouse, then home for a takeaway, I imagine.

Up since 7, DS to work, weekly shopping done, x2 washing loads also done and drying. Having a coffee listening to Graham Norton, then it’s dog walk. DH not feeling great so lazy day for him. Wine and TV tonight

I am off to the super league grand final this afternoon. First trip out with my sister and partner we have had without children in tow for two years so will be nice to be out just the 4 of us.

DS and I had an argument yesterday, he is as adult of 20. I’m smarting from it and he tends to sulk so I’m hoping it’s all ok. DH saw both sides of the falling out. The argument involved chores and finances and a game we both play. We were both horrible.

The house had a major clean up yesterday hence the start of arguing . I will do some gardening and maybe some baking. DS GF is due round at 1 and is staying tonight. I will watch a film with DH this evening.

Up and showered. Off to the beach soon with the dog and family. Load of washing in machine.
DH cooking breakfast, I’m on my second cuppa, cuddling on the sofa with DD and scrolling MN as DD is watching bloody peppa pig.

I am a crap baker so it is the Aldi sundried tomato and cheese bread mix and I added chilli flakes. It is cooling now and is really good with some butter and a slice of cheddar. :)

DH working this morning so I've got the place to myself. Just had a lovely bath and washed my hair. Had it trimmed yesterday and It's gone from a cute French bob to a Lego cut Hoping my own blowdrying technique will sort it.

Done a bit of housework and after during my hair will paint my nails for the week.

Lots of WhatsApp chat with my best friends as we've just booked flights and hotels for Eurovision

Out to local pub tonight as they've got a band in and I fancy a dance.

Oh, just saw this. Above. :) It's alot easier and less fancy than i made it sound!

I like experimenting with easy packet mixes. I do things like add mashed blueberries to packet sponges etc. I am not a confident baker, so this is what I do to just play around. Next on my agenda is adding pureed mango and coconut milk to a vanilla sponge mix.

Lazy morning so far chatting to dh, homemade latte and browsing mumsnet while kids had screen time. I'm now sat in the car waiting for Ds swimming lesson to finish. Dh has taken dd to sainsburys to pick up a few bits.

Later we're meeting friends for a walk and maybe a hot chocolate. Then promised my Ds a movie night.
