Anyone else really annoyed by it?! I don’t know how she sees properly & it must be irritating.

Apparently its there to hide a wonky eye

thistimelastweek · 02/10/2021 19:24

I love it!
It's a shiny magnificent statement.

Love Claudia too.

Mariell · 02/10/2021 19:26

Ignore the ‘looks unrecognisable’ , but when looks much better with it cut shorter -

She has a strong personal aesthetic, I love it.

whatswithtodaytoday · 02/10/2021 19:29

I love that she just looks how she wants to look - tan, eyeliner, pale lips, fringe - without pandering to what's expected of female presenters. On the odd occasion she changes her look she looks great too (love her with a red lip) but she's clearly decided how she feels best and sticks with it.

pinkhampoppy · 02/10/2021 19:29

The fringe, the excessive eyeliner...but I love her.

ImitationofBeing · 02/10/2021 19:30

I love it. I want her hair.

CurryLover55 · 02/10/2021 19:31

I do love her but it’s just the fringe

OP posts:
QueenAdreena · 02/10/2021 19:36

I love her. Love that her hair and make up isn’t always perfect, that she doesn’t have great big blown up lips/boobs/bum and that her clothes are quite quirky. The fringe would drive me bloody mad admittedly (I have a fringe but wear it shorter) but it suits her.

rocksteadyfreddy · 02/10/2021 19:36

@MrsDThomas

Apparently its there to hide a wonky eye
And so what if it is?
DarkDarkNight · 02/10/2021 19:38

I don’t watch Strictly but have just had a look. She looks fab tonight. I love the heavy fringe look and it’s just her style but I agree I can’t bear having a fringe in my eyes, it gives me a headache. It must not bother her or she thinks it’s worth it to have that hairstyle.

Meredusoleil · 02/10/2021 19:42

Agree 100% with you OP. Hate it on her and think it must be very annoying personally.

MrsDThomas · 02/10/2021 19:44

@rocksteadyfreddy op said she was annoyed by it, and I explained why she had it.

Whats your problem with my explanation?

Snowdropsandbluebells · 02/10/2021 19:50

I love her look 😍

Clymene · 02/10/2021 19:52

She is a woman who has a style. I admire her.

Mablefly · 02/10/2021 19:52

As someone who has a squint, I find the term 'wonky eye' sooooooo rude and it reminds me of being bullied at school. You could simply 'say she has a squint' - factual and non-judgemental. Not that I can see whether she has one or not ....

CoronaPeroni · 02/10/2021 19:56

I love the Head and Shoulders ad. I didn't realise Eve Pollard was her mum. I like her fringe.

MrsDThomas · 02/10/2021 19:56

🙄 wonky eye wonky leg whatever. So bloody sensitive

Its there to hide the eye.

Boredhimtodeath · 02/10/2021 19:56

No because I feel people can do what they want with their appearance without needing my approval.

sylbunny · 02/10/2021 19:57

Well I can see why she has the fringe now!

You didn't explain why she had it, you said "apparently".

My problem is with your "explanation" that it's completely irrelevant and also a bit nasty.

Therefore, so what if she has?

MrsDThomas · 02/10/2021 20:01

Yeah, so what?

picklemewalnuts · 02/10/2021 20:01

I think the 'wonky eye' comment is because we don't know what the eye issue is, just that she is self conscious about it. It may not be a squint, it could be something else.

LukeEvansWife · 02/10/2021 20:03

The fringe is only one thing about her that irritates
me - the cheesy 'jokes' and completely put in silliness, she's so annoying
