Special Restaurants in London

I'd really love some help please!

It's my husband's 40th birthday soon and we're off to London for the weekend. It's his actual birthday on the Saturday so I'm looking for somewhere special for breakfast and dinner. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

There isn't really a budget as I just want it to be a lovely occasion.

Also if anyone has any recommendations of interesting things to do whilst down there that would be great!

Have you been? What's the music like

Definitely not The Ivy, it’s just a very average chain now.

For amazing food you can’t beat The Ledbury.

The proper Ivy is still fun for lunch and very distinct from the chain restaurants but all of the chain ones definitely devalue the brand.
