Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

I scored 26

Stuckinstressville · 27/09/2021 21:16

Hmmm 100. I have been thinking how I need to get a diagnosis as I think my breakdown and subsequent depression, anxiety and inability to make a decsion or motivate myself to crack on with all my ideas and also leaving my City Career is linked to possible adhd. No idea where or how to get diagnosed or what the point would be.

CallMeNutribullet · 27/09/2021 21:16

I got 80 and I've never considered I have adhd but I'm disorganised and easily distracted.
I think DD certainly has some traits

Bluntness100 · 27/09/2021 21:16
  1. I certainly don’t have adhd,
HeyDuddy · 27/09/2021 21:17

73 but I don’t have ADHD or ASD. However I do have a MH condition that ticks lots of those boxes.

behindanothername · 27/09/2021 21:17

I got 60, I am diagnosed ADHD/ADD and it takes a highest dose possible of meds to take me down to notch :) I am also autistic, it may be that other neurodiversity elements skew the results, or length of time undiagnosed/masking/learning coping mechanism.

cataline · 27/09/2021 21:18

I score really highly on recognised diagnostic tests for ADHD. I'm also diagnosed.

That test is crap!

SilverOtter · 27/09/2021 21:19

105Confused

I have suspected for quite some time now that I might be on the autistic spectrum and/or have ADD/ADHD.

I've got this far in life despite that though, and kind of feel like I don't want to put another label on myself if that makes sense.

NotMyCat · 27/09/2021 21:19

Scored 18

Velvetoverground · 27/09/2021 21:19

20, my partner says I might have ADHD but not according to this

mum2jakie · 27/09/2021 21:20

24 and I don't think I have ADHD

MissOrganisedMe · 27/09/2021 21:20

I scored 13.

coldwarenigma · 27/09/2021 21:20

91 for me...no diagnosis..I do have auditory processing disorder though and DS1 was diagnosed with ASD in his mid 20s. So maybe..

RosieCockle · 27/09/2021 21:21

I got 6.

Attictroll · 27/09/2021 21:21

50

ImFree2doasiwant · 27/09/2021 21:21
  1. I am quite anxious and indecisive and opted for "just a little" quite a lot!
DustyMaiden · 27/09/2021 21:21

17

catandbabymama · 27/09/2021 21:22

89 for me

Excited101 · 27/09/2021 21:22

I got 78, I’ve wondered for a few months if I had ADHD, more specifically, ADD

Queenoftheashes · 27/09/2021 21:23

72 and I often think I have adhd

CheesyWeez · 27/09/2021 21:23

I scored 65. I do think I might have ADHD, and my son (16yo) thinks he has it too.

For those of you who have been diagnosed with ADHD, how did you get that?

MumOfTwoChildren · 27/09/2021 21:23

93

JohnNutLips · 27/09/2021 21:23

I scored 11, my answers were either “not at all” or “just a little”.

stealingbeauty · 27/09/2021 21:24

I got 20. It has crossed my mind that I have mild ADHD but i didn’t feel the questions in this test resonated with me.

SCH20 · 27/09/2021 21:24

86 - I've often wondered about getting tested, but I don't think the NHS would see me as seriously impaired enough (even if it causes me some distress)
