Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

I scored 9

passionfruitpizza · 16/01/2022 07:59

105 but I'm on a waiting list for assessment so I guess that's not a massive surprise.

Snozzlemaid · 16/01/2022 08:02

9 for me.
Didn't really identify with any so definitely not got ADHD.

yikesanotherbooboo · 16/01/2022 08:05

15

newlabelwriter · 16/01/2022 08:07

81 and have been meaning to get tested (but of course never get round to doing it 🙄)

Samiamnot · 16/01/2022 08:16

I scored 21

WakeMeUpBeforeYouGo · 16/01/2022 08:17

12 for me. Don't have ADHD.

TinyTroubleMaker · 16/01/2022 08:24

I have long suspected I have something like this, ADHD/ADD.

CoverYourselfInChocolateGlory · 16/01/2022 08:27

I got 30. I am always on the go and berating myself for not doing and achieving more, but the rest of the questions didn't apply to me at all. I don't have ADHD.

danni0509 · 16/01/2022 08:32
  1. I definitely don't have adhd.

Id never move off the sofa again if I didn't have too, which is the complete opposite to my ds who has severe adhd. I spend my life trying to get him to sit on it Grin

pollygartertidywife · 16/01/2022 08:33

Was diagnosed 14 years ago aged 44.

Stormwhale · 16/01/2022 08:34

99 for me. Pretty sure I have adhd that was misdiagnosed as bpd in my late teens. Not really sure what to do about it though!

Costacoffeeisbetterthansex · 16/01/2022 08:42
  1. I suspect I am on the spectrum though but that is a whole different story
asnippersdream · 16/01/2022 08:46

83 but I have wondered if I have ADHD for a while.

Theworldisquiethere · 16/01/2022 08:50
  1. I have been wondering if I’ve got adhd!
Bitbloweyoutthere · 16/01/2022 08:57
  1. But would have scored more highly when I was younger. I've leaned to manage myself a lot better. I also do a bit of exercise and am slightly worn out by work and 13 years of child rearing.

The pinball thoughts question and chatter in my head struck a chord. I couldn't work in silence growing up. I couldn't watch at TV programme without having something else to do.

I can, however, read a lot. But I do tend to skim and have to go back. It's like my eyes slide around the page.

TheChosenTwo · 16/01/2022 08:59
  1. Sort of surprised but I have suspected dd of this for a while. Not once has it ever crossed my mind that I may also have it. Food for though. My brain is always a scrambled tangled mess.
LunaAndHerMoonDragons · 16/01/2022 09:03

24, answers consistent with inattentive so ADD, no hyperactivity. Ive been wondering recently if I have ADD, definitely not the hyperactive component. My DC are Autistic and I know there's some cross over and relationship between the two. People with ADHD are more likely to be Autistic than the general population and vice versa.

linerforlife · 16/01/2022 09:05
  1. I have recently started to suspect I have ADHD (without hyperactivity).
bibliomania · 16/01/2022 09:12
  1. I'm Little Miss Blurt It Out and feel I haven't achieved enough, but I do like to get organized with a nice list.
mizu · 16/01/2022 09:13

Just did it and got 6 Shock

BurnedToast · 16/01/2022 09:15

I did it twice. 26 and 34. I'm a little surprised as I always think I have terrible attention. I struggle to watch films as I can't stop thinking about other stuff. I often have to read the same page twice as I'll be thinking about something else whilst reading then can't remember a word of what I have read. Confused maybe everyone has that then.

Suspected for a while but can't face the pain of being dismissed by doctors and trying to get past receptionists to talk to them is horrible

Chickenwing2 · 16/01/2022 09:33
  1. I had a few "not at all's" everyone is different!
TheWomandestroyed · 16/01/2022 09:41

81, I strongly believe I have ADD, but like PP the thought of battling to get anywhere with Doctors etc seems like a battle I can't face .
