Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

85 i have no diagnosis of adhd but for a while have thought I may have it. I procrastinate for ages on the merits of obtaining a diagnosis at my age…I’ve coped so far in life. My son is clearly adhd, around age 6 or 7 the paediatrician told me she she would diagnose adhd, out of fear of stigmatisation I didn’t take the diagnosis for him. (He was being assessed for dispraxia). I regret that decision now and think I probably should get him assessed, he clearly at times really struggles. Looking at my wider family in older generations it’s very clear it’s a family trait.

I think I've known I've probably got ADHD for some years. It doesn't impede my ability to function, I've developed enough coping strategies over my lifetime so I've never bothered pursuing a diagnosis.

I do often wonder how productive I'd be with some medication though 🤔

I got 90.
I have suspected I have ADD for a few years. Unfortunately I have not much sign of the 'H' component and can spend long periods of time in a state of suspended animation!! If I stay on my feet, it's all good. But I have a very cluttered brain, which refuses to switch off.

I scored 15. Some of the answers I gave were skewed by currently being pregnant and the effect that has had on my moods/concentration.

  1. My consultantation regarding adhd diagnosis is in a couple of months. I only realised in the last year that a lot of that stuff is not "normal".

I have an ADHD diagnosis, sometimes I worry that I don't really have it and that I just am crap at life but then I see what other people have scored and realise I probably do... Grin Blush
