Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

Fairly sure I have adhd and have thought that for a while.

Wapawapa · 27/09/2021 21:45

I got a 6

Pallisers · 27/09/2021 21:45

I scored 9. The only one I really felt I could agree with was answering questions before the question is finished but I think that is how I was reared tbh - we all talked at the same time.

camelfinger · 27/09/2021 21:45

Had been wondering about his so was surprised to score 13. I think I have just a little of a lot of the tendencies, and tend to beat myself up about that.

ChipsAndKetchup · 27/09/2021 21:47

Always suspected I have it. Never diagnosed.

My son is in the process of being diagnosed.

Ichangemynameagain · 27/09/2021 21:48

Interesting reading people's responses. I scored in the 90s. No ADHD diagnosis. But my kids are being assessed. And going through that process has made me consider my own MH history.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 27/09/2021 21:48

37 for me. But I'm fairly lazy and laid back

Dontjudgeme101 · 27/09/2021 21:48

25 for me.

playmelikeasymphony · 27/09/2021 21:49

69, I have a neurodisability that is comorbid with adhd but haven’t been diagnosed with adhd.

Starsky82 · 27/09/2021 21:49

I scored 12, no ADHD here, but I do think the answers could change depending on what’s going on in a person’s life at the time.

CheeseCrackersAndChutney · 27/09/2021 21:49

60 but I felt like some of the questions like about how noisy your thoughts are were really similar. Perhaps someone with ADHD would be able to differentiate between them

Hi246 · 27/09/2021 21:49

I only got 15!

HappyKatieA · 27/09/2021 21:50

Hhhmmmm, 108 here.
At some point I will get around to trying to get an assessment, I've suspected I may be fit many years!

MrsIPFreely · 27/09/2021 21:50

I got 52 but I think I had ADHD growing up and it is only in the last 10 years that I feel I am able to navigate this. I am still very high energy and never still but I am much more able to manage now and feel like I have achieved in my life as a result of this.

overnightangel · 27/09/2021 21:51

@MadMadMadamMim

I have never considered the possibility that I have ADHD. I never thought about it and would consider myself entirely 'normal' with no particular issues, if that makes sense.

I scored 31.

So, yes, it's perfectly possible to score below 50. I don't know if that helps you at all.

Word for word what I would’ve written… I got 33
username00 · 27/09/2021 21:51

I scored 80. Ive never been diagnosed with anything but I often wonder if I am autistic. Don't have the money to go through any kind of testing though

youwillbelimitedastonumber · 27/09/2021 21:52

I got 11.

erictries · 27/09/2021 21:53

Scored 5

Flowersinthefireplace · 27/09/2021 21:53

I scored 15. I’m pretty mellow

Happylittlethoughts · 27/09/2021 21:55

I scored 23. No adhd

themuttsnutts · 27/09/2021 21:55

Total score of: 25
12-42, Significant Level of Experiences Associated With Inattention

wheresmyhairytoe · 27/09/2021 21:55

I scored 97.
DH scored 42.

Ive been wondering a while if I'm not neurotypical...

I do spend every evening watching TV, reading mumsnet on my tablet and looking at Facebook on my phone, all at the same time 😂.

My brain is very busy!

Wiaa · 27/09/2021 21:55

7 for me

Galvantula · 27/09/2021 21:56
