When you do your weekly food shop.
We don't get all the fancy branded organic bits but...
Eggs! Nothing beats a poached burford brown on some seeded bread!

The things we try buy the best of is -
Eggs
Bog roll (absolute must)
And free range meat.

What are your best of the best necessities? Grin

I have always bought expensive bedding and we have pure goosedown quilts and quality pillows. You spend such a lot of time in bed that it makes sense to only have the best. The downside is that I really dislike sleeping at other people houses and rarely sleep well.

@limitedperiodonly have you tried aldi super sweet sweetcorn?

limitedperiodonly · 29/09/2021 14:06

@TuftyMarmoset Sadly I don't have an Aldi near me. Is it good? I don't have a local Lidl either but my friend made me up a Christmas hamper from their Deluxe range. All sorts of deli things. It was lovely. The best thing was a venison terrine.

TuftyMarmoset · 29/09/2021 15:53

@limitedperiodonly yes - I too consider myself a bit of a sweetcorn connaisseur and I rate it above Green Giant. DP thinks it's a bit too sweet though.

limitedperiodonly · 29/09/2021 16:48

@TuftyMarmoset I'll look out for it. What I like about Green Giant is that it's sweet and also crispy.
