Not trick or treating this year?

Anyone else not taking their kids trick or treating this Halloween?

Last year, we dressed up and headed out as usual, but I took a load of sweets with me and gave the DC a sweet every time they saw a house with decorations/a pumpkin. Haven’t decided yet if I will let them collect sweets from houses this year or do the same thing as last year, but we will definitely get costumed up and go out either way. (And of course we only go to houses that are decorated or have a pumpkin sign up in the window.)
