No marmite on anything but a rubbish heap.
Yes butter and honey so that it starts to ooze out of the bottom as you bite in. Heaven.

I do t have honey - I do have golden syrup but too sickly sweet for me for breakfast. I usually have cheese - ooh wish I had marmite to go with cheese

I make a sort of whipped butter with Marmite, parsley and mustard (it's from The Ivy originally) and have that on crumpets. It's lovely (if some effort)

Not together, or at the same time.

I had a bad reaction to some medication last time I ate crumpets and I chucked them back up repeatedly and violently and now I can't eat them any more without trying to recreate the moment.

Need to get some Marmite…
