I'm really going to miss that ,wonder why it changed?

I assume it’s because everyone chose Amazon! I switched to supermarket ones which are easy to use up but not as exciting.

Redeeming the vouchers is deliberately a real faff and it annoys me that the voucher company is likely to be making loads of money from people who don’t bother to go through the faff of putting all the codes in etc etc

Saucery · 20/09/2021 12:27

There’s a new govt survey going round, about Climate Change and renewable energy. They are offering Amazon vouchers, maybe they are saving them for that, instead?

WoozySnoozy · 20/09/2021 12:29

Maybe they thought the high street was struggling enough without them contributing?

Can't see why they'd have Tesco,Costa and Uber eats etc if that was the case.

Wonder if people will drop out now?

Isn't it the massive faff ever?!

Hi all. Are these studies invite only?

sanityisamyth · 20/09/2021 13:18

I chose Asda vouchers as it stopped me buying frivolous stuff on Amazon. I can see how they were useful though!!

frazzledasarock · 20/09/2021 13:18

your invited to join the study

CornishTiger · 20/09/2021 13:19

Thanks @frazzledasarock.

Randomly picked last March . But I did click on something on FB 2 days before about the study so maybe not quite so random.

I never got my voucher for the second one I did. Did this happen to anyone else? And no I probably wouldn't bother without the voucher incentive, and I'm currently on mat leave with plenty of time so imagine many working people wouldn't.

They're often a bit late. I've had extra ones too which I queried with the person who comes to the door and she said not to even bother trying to sort it out. So I didn't Wink

We joined up and did our first test Saturday - wasn’t given a choice of vouchers - just did I want them sent to my mobile or by post - ah well all will become clear I guess - supermarket voucher would be ok ( hopefully Waitrose accepts them ! )

When you are sent the e cheque you get a list of vouchers you can choose from. Just not Amazon anymore.

I'd only recently started changing to Amazon vouchers but will have to go back to supermarket ones!

MegaClutterSlut · 20/09/2021 13:34

Noooo did you get an email as we've received nothing? Dh won't be happy....I get mine for primark, got around £300 in vouchers to spend there plus £50 more to claim but won't choose primark this time Grin

Just tried to redeem the vouchers and Amazon wasn't an optionSad

I've done Hobbycraft and Costa and DH has done Tesco.

Not sure I'll bother to squeeze my blood out from now on Wink

Yes our last email did say no longer doing Amazon from the beginning of September!

Just did ours at the weekend so waiting for our vouchers to come through, we've been doing it for over a year now! Wonder what we will choose instead.. Amazon was brilliant as used them to buy Christmas presents !

Do think we should get double now we do swabs and antibodies though 😂

runwithme · 20/09/2021 14:14

Yeah, we've been using them for Amazon purchases. DS1 isn't bothered so we were buying his and giving him cash. I need to redeem some now, so will have a look at the other options. I did use some early on at John Lewis, on some Sweaty Betty stuff when they had a sale on

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 20/09/2021 15:43

I don't think they do John Lewis anymore or I'd have used them. Either that or I missed it on the list.

It's a bit annoying but I guess they have a good reason it's easy money so I'm just using mine for meals out at Miller and Carter or John Lewis for makeup now. The kids are struggling to use theirs though.

Unicornhorns · 20/09/2021 15:47

I’ve been doing it for over a year and have noticed that shops come and go - Amazon and Argos have been off the list a couple of times but they eventually return.

Unicornhorns · 20/09/2021 15:48

For the first time this month we haven’t been tested, anyone had this happen to them?

mawbroon · 20/09/2021 15:53

I've never had any bother with ours. I usually just get supermarket ones. Like a PP, I just give DS1 cash for his
