I'm really going to miss that ,wonder why it changed?

I've just printed off an M&S voucher as I never use Amazon - without too much faff either which was astonishing. My heart sank as I had to put more ink in the printer and after the usual swearing and gnashing of teeth it cooperated.

ButterflyBitch · 20/09/2021 16:05

I normally choose John Lewis and m and s for the kids vouchers. It’s more than paid for their uniforms and new clothes/shoes over the last year. I have been choosing amazon but have picked John Lewis for my last lot. Might treat myself to something.

mum2jakie · 20/09/2021 16:50

Just received first voucher as we had our first test the weekend before last. (We were expecting to do it every week but haven't had any further contact since first test?) Not a very exciting range of shops on offer but a free £50 is not to be sniffed at. Think I will end up using my husband and kids' vouchers too as there isn't really much on there to excite them.

Exchanged mine for a Clarks evoucher which can strangely only be used in store and not online. Glad it didn't have to be printed off though. I loathe our bloody printer!

Alwayswonderedwhy · 20/09/2021 16:52

I didn't realise the list changes. We're due some this week, hope Sainsbury's and Morrisons is still available.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 20/09/2021 16:56

I used mine for Hobby craft but wish I hadn't bothered as so much is either out of stock or not available on line Hmm

I've been doing this since last June and always pick Amazon vouchers. I've used them to help pay for essential uni books.

I guess I'll get supermarket vouchers instead and save the money. Bit of a pain though (and I probably won't save the money).

peachgreen · 20/09/2021 17:13

I discovered this today and was very annoyed! Went for M&S but it's not as handy. Ah well!

I didn't see either Morrison's or Sainsbury's on there. Would have been ideal to save for Christmas. Tesco was on there but we don't have one locally
Gardenwalldilema · 20/09/2021 17:22

I've been on the trial for absolutely ages and spent the first £800 on an entire new wardrobe set from Ikea, now that's finished we normally have Nandos.

peachgreen · 20/09/2021 18:07

Sainsbury's was on there but only for in store.

mum2jakie · 20/09/2021 18:13

Sainsbury's not showing for me today?

Oh, if they stopped the Amazon vouchers it will be a challenge to get my DD (7) to take part. The OMG dolls she got herself were the things that kept her going..

They do Argos vouchers if you can get LOL dolls from there?
MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 20/09/2021 18:29

I loved spending then with Amazon, I was like a kid with an Argos catalogue at ChristmasGrin

@Plotato I've been doing it with my adult son who lives with me, he didn't get two vouchers when I did. You have to email them and keep mithering, the organisation is a shambles but he did eventually get them, think they work on the principle of make it difficult and people would just give up but not him!! 😜 We get asda ones and do big online shop when I've got £100 worth. Came in very handy last year when I couldn't work due to long covid.

Plotato · 21/09/2021 10:00

Thanks, will chase it up. I've only had £25 worth (not to be sniffed at when on maternity leave!) but not had any further invitations so jealous of those who are earning lots!

Cactu · 21/09/2021 12:19

For the kids I just keep the voucher and let them choose something else for the money. As there’s quite a long delay between taking the test and getting the voucher email they often forget and I can get away with only buying them one thing for 2 tests.

Chasingsquirrels · 21/09/2021 12:22

I've been having Amazon vouchers since last April, £75 a time as I've been giving the dcs cash for theirs. Got Tesco last time.
Don't find redeeming them a faff at all.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 21/09/2021 12:23

Be aware if you use Hobby craft ,you can only use one £10 voucher at a time. Won't be doing that again as there's postage as well.

In future I'll just get Tesco vouchers.

OP posts:
WoozySnoozy · 21/09/2021 12:47

Can't see why they'd have Tesco,Costa and Uber eats etc if that was the case?

They all have physical stores or Uber eats helps restaurants. Amazon is just a warehouse stopping people going out and spending money elsewhere. People don't need encouraging to spend there.

SlipperySlope99 · 04/10/2021 07:35

Just logged on to exchange vouchers for Tesco and all of the supermarkets are off the list now, FFS!

Oh no! My son managed to request a Sainsbury's voucher at the weekend so must have only been changed recently. They weren't showing on the official list but were available as an option on the drop-down boxes when we applied for the voucher.
SlipperySlope99 · 04/10/2021 19:30

Yes must have only just happened, as I did a Tesco shop ( bought gin) last week.
Luckily the expiry dates on the cards are for 2022/23, so maybe they’ll come back on again, like Amazon is back on

mum2jakie · 04/10/2021 19:38

Is Amazon back on already? Didn't spot that

SlipperySlope99 · 04/10/2021 19:49

Yes
