I bought a tub of loaded Millionaire's brownies from M&S and I would give them 10/10.

I also had a very nice sausage sandwich yesterday morning.

Just had egg and homemade oven chips, was really nice.

KittyMcKitty · 19/09/2021 19:24

I made a raspberry and apple crumble today (with custard ) which was lovely.

Roominmyhouse · 19/09/2021 19:27

Chicken Massaman curry from a Thai street food place. Delicious and a bargain as it came with rice and was only £5.

Yahyahs22 · 19/09/2021 19:30

Creamy cashew and garlic pasta. Amazing

Pallyum · 19/09/2021 19:30

@ZZGirl

Homemade peach upside down cake. Or sausage and sourdough traybake
Have you got the recipe for the sausage traybake please - sounds lovely!
BrilloPaddy · 19/09/2021 19:30

I've been craving an oven baked potato for weeks. I'm T2 diabetic and don't normally eat them.

It was utter bliss, crunchy skin and fluffy centre.

Hen2018 · 19/09/2021 19:40

Cauliflower and pasta cheese, with bits of bacon.

I’ve also got a raspberry and banana cake in the oven for when Gone Fishing is on, so hope that’s a good one.

Ruralbliss · 19/09/2021 19:43

I am trying to do my bit for climate change with eating less meat. Took my eldest for a pre leaving home pub lunch and felt like a martyr ordering the pan fried nut roast instead of the meaty roast options

It was unbelievably delicious. No idea what was in it but each mouthful was heaven. A lot of red wine I suspect.

Moonface123 · 19/09/2021 19:55

A crispy creme doughnut.

OoglyMoogly · 19/09/2021 19:55

Bavarian ham and smoked cheese sandwich yesterday because we were starving at a craft fair by 2 pm and my friend’s husband kindly brought us in lunch so we didn't have to pay through the nose for some scran. That and a cup of strong tea hit the spot.

It was the best thing I had eaten in days.

DrWankincense · 19/09/2021 19:57

Hot, buttered toast.
I like the simple life Grin.

leavesthataregreen · 19/09/2021 19:58

steamed romanesco with a pasta of pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes, chilli, garlic and parsley.

JingsMahBucket · 19/09/2021 20:07

A pretty nice truffle cheddar cheese. It’s a local new one to me and I was skeptical it would be good. Colour me surprised.

Jellycatspyjamas · 19/09/2021 20:09

Chocolate gingerbread which I made yesterday for lunch at my sisters, I’d forgotten how good the recipe is.

Yarnandneedles · 19/09/2021 20:11

Sunday lunch today - all the veggies served with the gammon were home grown- potatoes, cabbage , peas, cauliflower cheese, roasted tomatoes. The flavour is unlike anything you’ll get in shops.

Maverick66 · 19/09/2021 20:11

Two slices white bread toasted with real butter ....delicious.

DamnUserName21 · 19/09/2021 20:13

My brilliant 11yo DC made us an aubergine and tofu scramble in a homemade teriyaki sauce with rice and broccoli as sides. Her recipe. Tasted lovely. Clever kid.

Yum!

Went out for an Indian meal yesterday and it was bloody lovely! However, the vegan quinoa that I cooked tonight was also quite delicious!

MissConductUS · 19/09/2021 20:24

Clam chowder from Legal Seafood and a toasted ciabatta roll from an Italian bakery.

Silkiescatz · 19/09/2021 20:29

Cough medicine as its the one thing I can taste at the moment Grin

TeethingBabyHelp · 19/09/2021 20:31

I made a roast and the roast potatoes were absolutely banging. Like perfect. I nearly took a photograph of them but stopped myself because what would I do with a picture of spuds?

Also made a crumble with my 3 year old DS which was yummy - he loves making them so much

Auntienumber8 · 19/09/2021 21:07

A pan fried portobello mushroom that had smoked cheese melted on it, rump steak in a cream mustard and fresh parsley sauce, homemade wedges, runner beans, baby sweet corn and tomatoes from the garden.

Dillydollydingdong · 19/09/2021 21:10

Sunday lunch - roast lamb and veg cooked at the pub. That means no cooking or washing up! Grin

EllieSattler · 19/09/2021 21:10

MIL did Sunday lunch. All very nice but her roasties are, absolutely 100% of the time, absolutely epic. I would happily eat just a plate of the roasties. Had a lovely glass of wine with lunch too (Aldi's Muscadet Sevre Et Maine, if anyone's interested.)
