What's been the nicest thing you've eaten this weekend?

I bought a tub of loaded Millionaire's brownies from M&S and I would give them 10/10.

I also had a very nice sausage sandwich yesterday morning.

Blackberry and apple crumble with loads of custard!

Picked some sweetcorn at 11 this morning. Ate it at 12, just cooked it in foil in the oven.

It was absolutely divine.

Apple strudel ice cream from Lidl, really nice.

Chilli on chips with cheese sauce and jalapeños and sour cream

I am eating some juniper and pepper salami with a glass of wine right now - lovely

Roast dinner:
Sliver of slow-cooked beef
My awesome Yorkshire puddings
Roast potatoes
Roast courgette
Broccoli steamed
Braised red cabbage (that was a cheat: leftovers from the freezer)
Gravy that was half red wine
Another glass of red wine for me

Then I cheated for dessert with an Aldi apple tart. I may never move again...

Beef dinner this evening. Beef joint was from our fantastic local butcher who rears their own cattle, and it was cooked to perfection.

Duck confit and dauphinois potatoes, banoffee pie. Lunch with cousin.

Roast chicken and ham with all the trimmings and trifle at Dds

A good week except for calories.

Had a gorgeous snack last night of Long Clawson Stilton and these charcoal crackers I don't buy very often - so so good!

I went to a wedding yesterday and all the food was absolutely delicious - fancy, but still satisfying. But I'm 12 weeks pregnant and craving carbs so the actual best thing I ate was a Tesco bakery pretzel in the car on the way there...

DS just cooked me steak and chips 😉 Asda rib eye really tasty.

Sausage butty made by dh. Lovely thick white bread, sausages cooked to perfection, lashings of good quality butter.

I'm sat in the sun eating a sicilian lemon pink lemonade ice lolly from the the co-op. It's the best thing I've eaten all weekend.

Large ripe figs with St-Feligian creamy cheese and crusty french bread

I went to Borough Market and had a bao bun, which was very nice. But then went round the corner and had an Italian coffee ice cream to die for (and cost me nearly £5 but worth every penny)

My DH's chicken drumsticks in lemon and orange. Amazing, even though I had to change a pooey nappy in the middle of it!

Oh, and a bought chocolate pudding. And a coffee macaron.

Macaroni cheese but thanks to this thread craving all sorts of things now!

Some amazing Thai prawns, deep-fried in a case made from rice noodles. The prawns were so juicy while the case was lovely and crunchy. This was at a Thai place in King’s Cross, not of my own making!

I've eaten rubbish all weekend but I needed vegetables so made more effort today. The nicest bit was the homemade guacamole.
