I have dealt with Trump’s presidency, I have accepted Brexit. I have lived through COVID restrictions. But this is just too much for me.

I miss the Kwik Save No Frills brand

I saw these in store earlier.........they reminded me of a pair of roller boots I had in the 80s. They are very bright!!!!
Just showed them to 17 year old dd would likes them in an ironic way!

Aldi did merch earlier this year - maybe it will become a trend ?

I remember being in Copenhagen years ago and someone walking along swinging a Netto bag (remember them?) and I was appalled on their behalf. Back in my part of the UK then kids wouldn't let their mums carry a Netto bag lest they were seen by schoolmates.

Why are we getting different pictures I wonder? Several of us don't get the indoor, stately home pics. We get outdoor ones. Much less fun.

I think it's geographic. Deals in Scottish/N Ireland Lidl different from England. Or similar.

And the trainers are fecking awful.

I really like the designs. Shame they don't have swimming costumes, or ladies' T shirts, or waterproof jackets.

I saw someone at a festival once wearing a Kwiksave No Frills T shirt and coveted it intensely.

Actually saw a v young guy at Corfu airport on the way home last week wearing Lidl socks . I had wondered where they came from- are the Greek Lidl’s trying to punt them off first??

I like the trainers, but wouldn't wear them as they seem to be aimed at teens. Also, with winter coming, I tend to stick to black walking shoes for my daily walks, as they don't show dirt so much.

Lidl do have some bargains. I recently bought DH a top in there for £5, for him to use at work (maintenance/decorating). It washes well and is reasonable quality. I also love their own brand Irish Liqueur, and chocolate, and cakes... mmm!

Look again at the letter I in the red circle which says 'Always LIDl in price'. It's a bit anatomical, isn't it?
