What has mildly annoyed you today?

I bought tinned sweet corn from Asda rather than Tesco or aldi, I always buy the cheapest but this one is disgusting and flavourless. I bought 3 tins of it too Angry

Everything at work, because too busy to get everything done and other people not doing what they should be doing because too busy it’s a endless .

Sitting in a cafe trying to relax with a quiet cup of tea and everyone around me is scraping chairs across the floor. People arrive and they have to spend ages rearranging the chairs for some reason. People leave and all scrape their chairs out and then in again. Sets my teeth on edge and is anything but relaxing.

My DH just continually shoving stuff in the overflowing kitchen bin so much so that it's sticking to the bin lid but rather than be a grown up and changing the bin and putting it in the outside wheelie bin he just keeps pushing stuff down 😤. I should have left it for him but I can't stand it when it's overflowing.
I had this problem a few weeks ago and the bin bag was so stuck and heavy when I emptied it I still have awful upper back pain !! Taking regular naproxen twice a day even now 👿

This was annoying and it didn’t even involve me…
Was in the local cornershop today and the man in front of me had his little boy with him. After he put his shopping on the counter he decided to buy a scratch card and asked his boy what number he wanted to choose. The boy said 3 “because I’m 3,” and the lady serving him said unfortunately she now wasn’t allowed to sell him any scratch cards as it was now classed as underage gambling. The man looked at her, then looked at me, I was looking a bit bewildered - he asked if he could choose another number and she said no, she now couldn’t serve him anything to do with gambling because it was classed as underaged gambling and against the law.
I mean we’ve all had to adhere to annoying laws etc and I know she was doing her job and he just said okay and paid for his shopping and went, no more was said about it, but it just seemed so stupid, he was bloody 3!

Timewasters! I'm clearing my dad's house and put loads on the local Freecycle sites.

Someone asks for it, I say yes it's available, when would you like to collect, then......nothing!! Never hear from them again.

Then there's the ones who message a day and time ..... and don't turn up. Message if they still want the item, no reply!

Had two today. Bastards!! Angry

When other (higher grade) people can't do their f**king jobs properly and end up dumping crap on you so last minute it ends up being 2 hours late. Angry

Got a cleaner for the first time ever. Have been so ridiculously excited about her starting. First day today and she didn't wipe down the dining table.
She did a really great job elsewhere and I suspect some of the other disappointments were unreasonable considering the time she had available but the dining table would have been an easy win, surely, but it made me really fed up when I laid the table and found it sticky and crumby

I didn't need to get up for the school run this morning, so I turned off my alarm. Alarm was set for 7.07 am, I woke up naturally at 7.10 am. Hmm I was looking forward to that lie in.
You set your alarm for 7.07?? Fascinating....

The bloody carpenter who fitted laminated wood flooring in my living room yesterday, today we noticed one floorboard went down as we stood on it and after further investigation we also discovered that whole area is bouncing as we walk on it!!!
Rang the store and no apology nothing just we'll get the fitter to ring you bye!! Great customer service!!! Like when tomorrow? Next week? When ffs??
Probably more than mildly annoyed!!! I'm fuming!

In the last week I've been to two meetings where I was shepherded out afterwards because of Covid. Both times I really needed a wee and it took me ages to find a loo in an unfamiliar place. It was so bad I thought I would wet myself in the car.

Parents parking on the zig zags outside my DD school, as they are scared of a bit of rain

Work colleagues - lazy work colleagues passing work onto others that they could easily do themselves

Grin The number of minutes past 7 am isn't significant, I just wanted to set it to a bit after 7 am and couldn't be bothered rounding it to the nearest 10 mins.
