What is something you said would never do and actually stuck to it?

Mine is smoking

I said I would never smoke and now at 32, I havent.

I was tempted as an older teen because at the time, everyone seemed to be doing it and I wondered why it was so popular, but now I’m glad I didn’t. It’s more common for people to not smoke now

Eat meat, fish or any animal products. Veggie since being in the womb. Vegan for ten years. Easy.

I said I would never have children.

I haven't :)

Smoke, do drugs, go to the UAE

Go into a KFC. Never have, never will.

Eat meat or dairy or anything from an animal. I went vegan at 15 and I'm now mid 30's and have never had any animal products.

Bit niche, but I promised myself I would never compromise my personal boundaries at work (strip club) despite the money. 10 years on, I've turned down absolutely ridiculous amounts because they would mean breaking that promise.

Hit my kids. I have never and will never raise a hand to my children.

I've got a few...

• Bully anyone. I was badly bullied for part of my 'education' (more of a destruction than an education) and I vowed I'd never deliberately make anyone feel that rubbish.
• smoking. Similar to others, I grew up with a smoking parent, and it put it off for life.
• eat meat (since I was 15)
• go to McDonald's (since about 16)
• buy from Amazon (I've nearly broken with this one a few times, and may do one day)

Loads of others too, as I'm a bit of 'never doing that' kind of person! Some of which I've stuck to, sadly some not! But stuck to all of the above, and the first 3 especially, are very important to me...
