What’s Happening In Your House?

I’m falling asleep on the sofa - one extra hour at work seems to have worn me out! It was very busy though. DH is working til about 8.30. I was going to do fresh salmon from the fishmongers for tea but it had closed by the time DD & I had been to get her friend’s birthday pressie so we’ll have ready meals instead. I got some from Parsley Box with a super long shelf life. It’s really foggy & humid here, which also isn’t helping with the sleepiness. Rained very heavily too. Hopefully it won’t rain later as it’s my turn to put the rabbits to bed. Looking forward to Corrie, even though I made the mistake of reading next week’s TV guide which gave something away & spoilt it a bit. If I can be bothered to move, I will pop to the local shop to cash my scratch card ( won £20) & maybe buy some wine.

Anyone out there?

I’ve not long gotten home from work (about 30 mins ago)
Dh has drilled the holes for the new ring camera in the wall while I sat down and worked out how to use it!
And we are waiting for a curry to be delivered - far too hot to cook tonight and I’m shattered from being at work at 6 this morning

Kids are off being feral somewhere 🤷‍♀️

Sitting on the sofa waiting for kick off England v Poland! Isn’t everybody?

DD is singing along to Horrible Histories songs on the iPad, sitting on the sofa, scratching her wrist on my big toenail. I'm lying on the sofa playing TwoDots (recommended on a thread and I became terribly addicted!)

DH just in from work and having a shower then he'll eat dinner I made, we already had it an hour ago (broccoli and goat cheese frittata and coleslaw).

I’m drinking tea on my bed (coolest room in the house). DD1 is in the shower. DD2 is doing her homework. DD3 is reading.

Boring

DH is out picking up DS2 from football. DS1 is doing music practice without being asked!! DD is doing homework or messing about on her phone - probably the latter. I'm cooking supper (chicken and rice).

I'm on the couch, being mildly irritated that the furniture is in the wrong places because we had a carpet and some rugs shampooed today and they're still not dry.

DH is watching youtube videos of reddit. It might be the laziest thing I've ever seen

DD is STILL doing her homework, after starting at 4. She's 11 and doesn't get that much, but it involved scissors and double sided tape so I'm guessing she's being a crafty perfectionist and actually having fun. She's enjoying sitting on the sitting room couch while doing her homework on the dining room table.

DS is doing something on his phone.

The kittens are exploring the new furniture arrangements with great interest, because they've been locked up all day to prevent them from 'helping' the carpet guy escaping out the open windows.

The older cat is sitting in the garden with her back to the house, sulking because we got the kittens. It's been a month now. I'm hoping winter will soften her up towards them.

Just put the dc to bed, ds having non of it. I'm melting. Feels like a very long week this week!

DH is on phone whilst watching hoot ball. The dog is sleeping on my lap and is making me even hotter. DS is making cookies! That’s a first. I can hear him beating something up in the kitchen. DD is in her room doing whatever she does. Won’t see her until tomorrow.

Dh, dd & ds are watching friends (the one where Ross and Monica’s grandma dies). I’m on th other sofa on here, dog is snoring on his bed

We're down our caravan (last few days of 2 weeks holiday) and the heavens have just opened. I absolutely love being here in the rain. I have a cuppa, a chihuahua curled up on my lap and DH is watching Wales play on his iPad.

DH is working night shift so it’s just me and the dogs. I’m watching Changing Rooms then I’m going to watch Married at First Sight and Rich House Poor House - complete bliss!

I’m putting baby DD to bed then going downstairs to bake the sponge for her birthday cake (one on Saturday). DS is in his bedroom sulking because I said he had to turn his laptop off and get ready for bed. DP is supposed to be building DD’s play kitchen ready for her birthday, not sure what he’s actually doing but probably not that Dogs are alternating between snoozing in the very hot conservatory and running up the garden to scare away pigeons/squirrels/cats etc.

Collected DD from sports practice 50 mins ago and brought her & local kids home. She lasted half a page of Harry Potter and is now curled up under my arm, holding my finger. And just started snoring! DH is putting DS to bed and then the kettle on.

Waiting to find out if the large bat in my bedroom has managed to find its way outside, doing Babbel (me not the bat).
DD is baking and DS is in his room.

DH went off to Vienna for work (finally again) .

Youngest is in bed hopefully sleeping. Eldest will join her soon.
Dh has taken himself to bed after he started feeling feverish. I'll be MN and watching junk TV before falling asleep on the sofa

I'm going to drink some tea with the dog. It's a rock and roll life for me.

Ds and dd are in bed (but awake). Dh is watching the football and I'm about to watch Unforgotten which I'm binge watching. Series 3 at the moment. There are some Cadbury Twirls calling me from the kitchen so I may treat myself to one of those...

I've just got off the phone to my mum and she's said that her and my dad won't be seeing us until Christmas at the earliest because of Covid. They aren't happy about the relaxing of the rules plus I work in a school, plus both DDs are in school.
So now I'm having a quiet cry, slapping a smile on it in front of the and going to watch changing rooms.

DP is watching the football, DD 5 is refusing to go to bed 🙄
DD13 is in her room and DD 17 is at a friends.
I'm sat on the sofa on MN desperately trying not to fall asleep before I pick DD up

I'm watching A House Through Time, which I love, and catching up on work emails and DH is in the living room watching the football. Dd is upstairs - I don't think she has homework so is probably utilising her Jodrell Bank level technology set up to play poker online with her friends, or a group Netflix movie or games etc.

Dd is a sea scouts doing a bin bag fashion challenge

Dh and ds are down stairs watching yet another marvel film

I'm in bed with the fan on drinking tea and watching Australian master chef

I’m watching Last Chance U on Netflix and feeling my baby kick 🥰 my dog is sulking because I just walked him and so he now has wet, dirty paws so has been banished to his bed. Husband is out in the yard finishing up and locking up, then will be coming in for his tea.
