Anyone renew there passport recently?

Can I ask how long it’s taken? Stupidly didn’t realise my passport was ‘expired’ (brexit bullshit) before booking a holiday. Website said only to use fast track if travelling within 3 weeks, I was almost 5 so I did it as normal and my anxiety is currently regretting that decision 🤦🏻‍♀️

Does anyone know if you Can you upgrade to fast track if it gets close to travel date?

DP and I did ours on the 21st August, they received them 24th. I had mine back by the 3rd September (Bootle office), he has had a notification that his is approved on Thursday but no sign of it arriving yet (Durham).

If anyone has had a child first passport back lately, id be interested to know how long to come back? We're hoping to go away at the end of the month...

Dd's has been four weeks so far . Printed last week but no sign of delivery yet.

I did mine fast track which was a pain but I went in on Tuesday last week and it arrived on Friday. I’m afraid I couldn’t bear the tension of waiting, when I booked the appointment the official wait time was 10 weeks and I had 9.5 weeks to go until my holiday 😩

Mine was received today. A renewal done at post office and took 11 days. Peterborough office.

Dds child renewal was sent off beginning of July. No sign of it yet...

There is a website where people record how long it’s currently taking. I can’t remember the name of it.

My husband did his online and then posted late Aug. Received it in just over a week

Mine took 6 weeks, got it last week, in Scotland though.

I applied for a renewal (from child's to adult) on 13/8. The old passport was received on 20/8 and it's been on that ever since.

Mine took 6 weeks, got it last week, in Scotland though.
Shit! I’m in Scotland but my passport went to bootle

Mine took about two weeks but that was last year. I renewed it online with digital photos.

I applied for a renewal (from child's to adult) on 13/8. The old passport was received on 20/8 and it's been on that ever since.
In fact I've just had a message today saying the new one is on its way. So it took 4 weeks + however long it takes to arrive.

I sent mine digitally on 16th Aug and they confirmed receipt of my documents on 23rd. Nothing so far, hoping it's under the 4 week time frame as meant to be travelling in October.

DPs renewal passport finally arrived today, problems with TNT delivery so it's been sat in their depot since the 3rd September.

I've also had a notification today for the child's 1st passport, that was approved today, awaiting dispatch. We posted docs on the 21st August so I'm impressed with that 😊

I sent mine off last month. They updated me today to say it’s been approved and will be printed then posted soon. It’s been 2.5wks so far so I anticipate it’ll be back in about a week so 🤞🏼 You’ll be ok

I live overseas, I applied on 13/8 and it arrived today so just over a month door to door.

I noticed for the first time ever that UK passports have a unicorn on the cover 🤔🦄

All of ours have now arrived! So a child's first passport took less than 4 weeks, I'm impressed by that

I applied for DS1s renewal on the 30th of August. They recieved old passport and supporting documents on the 7th. Thats the latest update. Hopefully it will be through soon. Luckily we're not planning a holiday, just wanted to make sure it didn't run out
