Anyone renew there passport recently?

Can I ask how long it’s taken? Stupidly didn’t realise my passport was ‘expired’ (brexit bullshit) before booking a holiday. Website said only to use fast track if travelling within 3 weeks, I was almost 5 so I did it as normal and my anxiety is currently regretting that decision 🤦🏻‍♀️

Does anyone know if you Can you upgrade to fast track if it gets close to travel date?

Mine has turned into a nightmare. Apparently Liverpool and Peterborough offices are the ones with the horrific lead times and of course my passport went to Liverpool 🙄 I’ve withdrawn my application. Paid £142 to book fast track for next Thursday and they are trying to get my old passport to Glasgow for my appointment. So here’s hoping. I’m an anxious mess. I know everyone’s had a shit time the last 2 years but genuinely feels like anything ‘nice’ we’ve tried to sort has just turned into a fucking shit show.

@Travis1 did you arrange that cancel and replace transaction over the phone? I'd be keen to do the same thing
