Which goes first?
Beans, or cheese?

If it makes a difference, it’s Heinz beans and a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese..

No butter, so don’t suggest

Butter, beans & cheese

Beans on the potato then cheese on the beans. A splash of Worcestershire sauce. I don’t like the cheese to be too melted either.

I like finding a wodge of nuclear-temperature cheese under my beans.

If you don't have butter go potato, cheese, beans, more cheese.

Butter, beans, cheese, just cheddar definitely not mozzarella

Remove flesh and mash with butter and cheese. Return to shells and bake until crisp on top, while beans heat up. Then serve beans on the side.

I might go beans, cheese, then under the grill for a few mins so the cheese bubbles…

I have butter, beans and then cheese, but I also have a bowl of grated cheese next to me just in case I get low on it 😁

Cheese first, then super boiling hot beans to melt the cheese.

Butter first of course
Then beans
Then cheese (not melted)
Then lots of pepper

the cheese needs to be on top and golden and bubbly and melted.

I like the cheese to be a comfort blanket
