What's your favourite sound?

I'll go first: I love hearing woodpigeons cooing. Reminds me of summer, gardens and it is such a peaceful sound.

Lions roaring at night (I live near a wildlife park)

If it's raining I go to bed early so I can listen to the rain on the window.
I love the sound of a good storm too.

Thunder in the distance. Early planes coming in from a long cold night flight over the Atlantic (I live near Gatwick).

My horses whickering when I take their feed buckets out every morning. No better sound.

Seagulls calling. I know some people hate seagulls but I love them.

The ice cream van. Especially when it’s loud and accompanied by the van’s engine so you know your 99 is just outside

The sound of the little waterfall on our pond - so relaxing in the summer ☀️

The kids playing and talking (as opposed to bickering and shouting)

The sea.

Oh yes to church bells! I used to live in a tiny village in the Yorkshire Dales one street away from the church. I loved the bells, and the clock would chime the time and the little bongs every quarter hour - so charming

My dog snoring...always makes me smile.

Absolutely my 4 y/o DS laughing, closely followed by listening to him play. The imagination is amazing 🤩
Otherwise my cat purring, as he's not much of a purrer

My dog play growling at me when we are playing and I am trying to get his stuffed toy from him. He thinks he sounds so fierce!

Prior to that, our cats chirruping/wood pigeons in the garden.

Wood pigeons here too. It reminds me of the place I come from. And intend to go back to one day.
