What are you having for dinner?

I can't decide.

Thinking about spinach and ricotta tortellini and pesto, or crispy chicken strips & mayo wraps. Or a nice stew or soup. I'm wanting a comfort dinner I can eat in bed too. I'm knackered and a bit delicate today (not hungover, I'm awaiting a breast ultrasound to investigate something there)

I've got a salad I didnt eat at lunch but its very small.

5 bean chilli with jacket potato and guacamole

ApolloandDaphne · 26/08/2021 18:05

We had Waitrose spinach and ricotta tortellini and a tomato and basil sauce. We are on holiday in a small apartment with only a two ring hob so it was the perfect dinner for us.

Buzzer3555 · 26/08/2021 18:05

The tortellini sounds yummy

Pork, mustard and apple sausages, creamy mash, and spicy butternut squash. It's the day before the 'big shop' arrives so I'm using up leftovers :)

Bloodybridget · 26/08/2021 18:07

It was going to be stir fried veg and noodles with salmon fillets, but we had a large, late lunch, so we'll leave out the noodles.

mrsbitaly · 26/08/2021 18:07

Salmon and homemade chips with salad

StevieNix · 26/08/2021 18:09

Freezer dinner -
Breaded cod, potato wedges, mushy peas and sliced buttered white bread.
Proper carby comfort food and it’s one of those days I just don’t want to cook.
Tomorrow we have campfire stew (from pinch of nom) or sausage and bean casserole, I’m feeling autumnal already so wanting hearty warming meals.

WreckTangled · 26/08/2021 18:09

Sirloin steak with a side of buttery green beans. Can't wait! Dh cooks the best steaks.

I would go for the tortellini because I miss things like that (diabetic so low carb).

EmmaJR1 · 26/08/2021 18:13
