Premier Inn Hypnos mattress

Both me and dh hate our fairly new and expensive mattress and need to replace it.

I’ve read about the premier inn Hypnos mattress being quite good. Dh has stayed at a premiere inn and says they’re comfy. I never have but am thinking about booking a night away just to test the mattress.

Are the ones in the premiere inns the same as the ones you can buy on their website? It says something about it being a “domestic version”.

We don't get on with any foam mattress due to heat, and have two mattresses we like but came from Dreams (previously sleepmasters?) We moved ours into the guest room and it must be coming up to 15 years old now and when we moved it, we bought our new one and tried to buy exactly the same. It's not quite, but both are comfortable and suit us.

We encouraged our daughter to do the same as they live in provided work accommodation - so I encouraged her and her partner to invest in a good night's sleep by buying a dreams (non foam) mattress.

Spend money on that that touches the ground- shoes, car tyres and beds :)

Try John Ryan. We tried a Simba and sent it back-hot and not comfortable as you kind of sink in it. John Ryan sell wonderful mattresses. We got the artisan natural and we loved it straightaway-the perfect mattress for us. Very comfortable and supportive, they market themselves as same quality as vi spring but better price as much lower overheads. You get a 60 night trial. The artisan natural was expensive (to us) but I still pure when I get into bed each night and we’ve had it 3 years. Their website has lots of advice and very detailed about the components of each of their mattresses.

I'm happy to spend money... But it's getting it right which is the issue. Current mattress was expensive and rubbish.

I'm aware this is an old thread.....
am interested in buying one of these mattresses but no one has commented on how firm or soft it is. I have a bad back and need something more definitely on the firm side. We have a Hypnos at the moment which is a little bit too firm.. I guess I'm looking for firm with a hint of give. Also the wool topper is putting me off... doesn't it get hot? Im menopausal and dont want to aggrevate the night sweats!! Can anyone advise? Thanks 🙂

I love our Hypnos mattress/bed.

Excellent quality and handmade in Britain.

We have a Hypnos and love it but you really need to try mattresses for yourself
