Yep doctor! ASAP! X

Driftingblue · 16/08/2021 10:03

Squeeze bottle of warm water, or just pour warm water over the area and as you go.

Take yourself off to A and E. This happened to a friend - turned out to be a massive fibroid in her uterus blocking the tube for her to pee.

GoodnightGrandma · 16/08/2021 10:05

A&E, you need catheterising if you can’t pee.

Akire · 16/08/2021 10:05

A & E job don’t waste time going to GP they will send you to hospital. They will give you a catheter and do test. Go now!

DoThePropeller · 16/08/2021 10:06

A&E or GP if you can get seen today. Suspect they will probably refer you to hospital anyway as not sure there is much they can do as it’s an urgent issue.

PoptartPoptart · 16/08/2021 10:26

Please go to A&E op. Don’t waste time at the doctors- they will just send you to the hospital anyway.
This is an emergency that can turn quite serious if not seen to promptly.
I don’t mean to scare you but you really must be seen ASAP.

PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears · 16/08/2021 10:28

Medical emergency. Go straight to A&E. Hope you're ok.

U2HasTheEdge · 16/08/2021 10:29

Yeah, you need to go to A&E.

couchparsnip · 16/08/2021 10:29

A and E now. This needs to be sorted before it gets serious and your Doctor will just refer you anyway.

blissfulllife · 16/08/2021 10:53

Thanks everyone I couldn't get through to my gp. I'm literally ready to burst! On way to hospital now x

Well done OP.

Akire · 16/08/2021 11:31

Yes well done. Be prepared have catheter for two weeks while they refer you to the right department. They have you in for the day while they do lots test and see if it’s working or not. Could just be infection mine was!

MrsRockAndRoll · 16/08/2021 12:56

Have you been seen yet OP?

StarLightOnboard · 16/08/2021 13:01

Definitely A&E. wish you the best

messybun101 · 16/08/2021 13:05

Have you been seen yet? Hope all goes well op x

Cerebelle · 16/08/2021 14:29

Hope you get sorted. This could be very serious if left.

NotWanting · 16/08/2021 14:35

How is it going OP?

PolytheneRam · 16/08/2021 14:55

Go to A&E. They'll bladder scan you and temporarily catheterise you. It's important!

I was working in A&E last week (i normally work on a ward) and we had someone in with the same problem.

Sexnotgender · 16/08/2021 14:56

Hopefully you’re in A&E now and are more comfortable!

Retrievemysanity · 16/08/2021 15:04

Good luck OP

ApolloandDaphne · 16/08/2021 15:04

That sounds very painful. I hope you have been seen now.

blissfulllife · 17/08/2021 07:37

It was horrendous so uncomfortable but after a bladder scan they put a catheter in and oh gosh the relief!. I've been having some neurological problems on and off over the last few years. Vertigo, numbness, balance problems which they'd put down to a type of migraine. I wasn't convinced and this last 6 months I've had tingling, pain and cognitive problems. This bladder issue seems is a part of whatever this neurological issue is. Still in hospital on ward with catheter still in place. More tests today x
