Is there a song that instantly makes your heart leap?

I'm a huge music fan. Songs dictate my emotions a lot which might sound weird. DH is not a music fan and he totally doesn't understand the feelings a certain song can provoke in me.

So is there that one song that instantly touches your soul and provokes emotions??

Mine is Gary Moore - Still in love with you

Walking in the air - Nightwish

@AngelsWithSilverWings

Something Changed by Pulp always makes me think of when DH and I first met.

Here comes the Sun - the Beatles - DH played this the day we brought or DS home when we adopted him. It really did feel like the sun had finally come out after ten years of fertility problems,

Love this ❤️❤️

Oh I also have Billy Joel - New York State of mind.

DH took me on a surprise trip to New York. The night he proposed we went to this gorgeous restaurant that had a singer and pianist and he played that song for us. He proposed at the top of the rockafella centre later that night. It's a very special song to me ❤️

And dire straits on every street. My dad had a health scare and I heard this in the car on the way home, it hit me I'd play it at his funeral. I was in floods of tears but it's the perfect song for my dad. (he does not have silver spurs on his heel or kill women).
Thakfully it didn't come to that, a decade on and he's still very much with us :D

I was in my bedroom, and had desert island discs on, half listening while I changed the bed cloths. The castaway chose there's a place for us, sung by Tom waites. I just say on the bed and howled. The words and his gravelly voice just seemed to fit. I know Waits isn't to everyone's taste, but his voice just seemed to embody the sentiment of the song perfectly.

Oh yes that's a beautiful song.

It makes me cry like "With you" from ghost the musical. But that could just be PTSD from seeing the musical. I cried A LOT.

Robert Miles - Children. Played at an old friends funeral 15 years ago and still gives me shivers when I hear it

Mr Brightside by the killers. No matter what mood I am in or how bad my day has been it always makes me happier

When I Get My Hands On You - written by Bob Dylan and performed by Marcus Mumford. Think it was released on The New Basement Tapes. I just love it.
