I'm a huge music fan. Songs dictate my emotions a lot which might sound weird. DH is not a music fan and he totally doesn't understand the feelings a certain song can provoke in me.

So is there that one song that instantly touches your soul and provokes emotions??

Mine is Gary Moore - Still in love with you

Elton John I'm still standing makes me laugh so much. I'm currently in a wheelchair and I use this song for my physio sit to stand exercises for inspiration 😂😂

Step into Christmas makes me so happy! Also Santa's coming for us by Sia and Coldplay Christmas lights. I could quite happily listen to Christmas music all year round!

I love music it's on constantly in our home.

My hubby doesn't listen to the lyrics of a song, I mean, just how do you do that, he doesn't know the meaning of songs he just listens to the music, it baffles me. I love the feeling music gives me and the story it tells,it can take me back to one place and time simply by the first few bars.

I have loads, today had been Alicia keys, girl on fire and Empire State of mind, I just love the dreams and optimism of it

Love Tracy chapman and Smokey Robinson remind me of being a kid at home

Jess Glynn, hold my hand , makes me really quite sad as brings memories of my amazing mum and I'm horny by hot n juice makes me laugh remembering my amazing mum as she had no idea what the lyrics actually were and used to sing her heart out on the dance floor to it thinking they were something completely different.

Tiny Dancer- Elton John.

As well as loving the music, the lyrics are great and reference Jeanie Franklyn (aka Genie the Taylor) who a streamstress for the best known west coast bands and global rock superstars in the 60s. She died in a bus crash in England, with the drummer from fairport convention and was girlfriend to Richard Thompson (also from FC). I love learning about people like her who are immortalised in songs.
