With the greatest respect, if he is planning to live and set up his own business in your country, does he speak the language? Does he understand the culture?
Coming from a country in the Middle East to Eastern Europe he will experience racism, I know this from living in an Eastern European country myself with a partner who was not white. I had never heard and seen racism casual and abject like it.
I sounds like a bad idea. I am sorry for you, I think you need to listen to your head more than your heart on this. If your mother is against you marrying him then she will not accept him and you will be stuck between him and your family all the time.
