I'm northern. Breakfast, dinner, tea.

What's for tea in your house?

My kids (one coeliac and allergic to tomatoes) have chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese with potato wedges, peas, broccoli and sweetcorn.

I've got hunters chicken and spicy rice with broccoli, sweetcorn, carrots and peppers.

Sounds yum OP. We are having beef stroganoff and rice, DH is cooking and he always adds some blue cheese to the stroganoff sauce - it’s gorgeous!

Salmon with ginger and spring onions, minty new potatoes and steamed broccoli, carrots and peas.

Pegasusmail · 06/08/2021 17:13

Oh that's lovely.
I made a chicken curry this morning and have it ready for anyone to help themself too. Kids had a pizza.
We have a birthday in the house so chocolate fudge cake Grin

Steak, chips and a watercress and Stilton salad. Might go all out and add a fried egg on top of the steak.

WeatherwaxOn · 06/08/2021 17:15

Not sure. Might do sweetcorn, wedges, baked beans and veggie sausages. DC has asked for pasta as has just lost a tooth.

GrrRightBackAtYou · 06/08/2021 17:16

Our oven broke last night - we still have grill and hob.
I’ve just had meatless farm sausage patties in a roll, the rest of the house are having a, previously batch cooked and frozen, chicken curry & rice.

emmathedilemma · 06/08/2021 17:17

Teriyaki chicken, noodles or rice with peppers & green beans.
and wine

bloodywhitecat · 06/08/2021 17:18

Turkey drummers, a potato waffle and veg for the toddler. DH and I are having a takeaway when he gets home.

DanceToTheMusicInMyHead · 06/08/2021 17:19

Hotdogs (with proper butchers sausages) with onions, mustard and ketchup, oven chips, onion rings, corn on the cob and salad. Followed by strawberries and cream. I've had a really awful week at work and this is very easy and feels like a bit of a treat.

KurtWilde · 06/08/2021 17:22

Northerner here so it's tea for us too. Friday night is Mexican night in our house. I've done chicken and red peppers for the tortillas, spicy beef mince for tacos, sour cream and homemade guacamole. Churros and chocolate dip for pud.

SimonJT · 06/08/2021 17:22

Lazy food day here and we only have the oven/stove in our camper.

Baked beans, toast, poached eggs, mushrooms, roast peppers and spinach.

BeetleyCarapace · 06/08/2021 17:24

I'm doing a quick meaty sauce pasta thing with some minced pork I found in the freezer.

Chippy tea tomorrow, can't wait. I shall be having salt 'n' sauce and everything.

MissyB1 · 06/08/2021 17:29

Chicken curry in the slow cooker. Will do rice and naans to have with it.

Mermaidsh1t · 06/08/2021 18:06

Slow cooker Pulled pork homemade coleslaw and fresh sourdough

illuyankas · 06/08/2021 18:25

Beef curry.

Camomila · 06/08/2021 18:47

Plain pasta with a bit of butter, grated cheddar, and peas - DC are recovering from norovirus.

WhiteHorse92 · 06/08/2021 19:27

Roasted vegetable lasagne with garlic and rosemary flatbread.

weegiemum · 06/08/2021 19:32

I've cooked from scratch every night this week (I'm disabled, so this is a big deal). So tonight is Indian takeaway. Dh has had a rare Friday off, so we're kicking back and relaxing.

FizzyPink · 06/08/2021 19:33

Jacket potato, beans and cheese.
Boring for a Friday but we’re saving money for our holiday next week and also on a mission to eat up what’s already in the kitchen

cliffdiver · 06/08/2021 19:33

Lasagne with garlic bread.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 06/08/2021 19:39

We just had burritos. I'd made the chilli last night, used a readymade Mexican rice pack so it was just a quick assembly job with the wraps/cheese/guacamole/sour cream. Perfect for a Friday evening when I've been working full time Star

blah3000 · 06/08/2021 19:42

Venison steak, home made chips, green beans and a bottle of Merlot Grin

savagebaggagemaster · 06/08/2021 19:44

It's tea here too (just over the border in Scotland Grin)
Dh, Dd, her visiting friend and ds have all had veggie burgers in buns (not homemade) There were salad items involved.
I didn't fancy any of that, so ate 2 bits of rocky road (this was homemade!)

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 06/08/2021 19:58

Everyone's tea sounds lovely. I'm craving curry now though. Luckily the little 2 will be with their dad tomorrow so I can have a curry and naan in peace Grin

Butter chicken curry, rice, naan and poppadoms.

Been simmering about an hour and a half those as eldest is dragging her heels coming back from the BFs 🙄

Hopefully it makes it super tender 🤞😅
