If you had a Huawei phone

But changed, what do you have now?
I love the camera on my p30 but the phone itself is just rubbish. The quality of the Huawei phones has really deteriorated I think.
I'm not interested in an Apple. I'm due a change on my contract so I can look at other phones available from O2 or I'm happy to buy the phone if its not too dear and get sim only.
Any suggestions or recommendations most welcome. Thank you

I have a Google Pixel and am really happy with it. I agree, the Huawei camera is amazing but the phone not so much.

I got Google pixel too. Great camera but I have issues with other people not hearing me properly if it's on speaker and it drives me bonkers.

I went for a Samsung s20 FE which has a very decent camera.

Samsung.
Whatever was a model or 2 behind the most recent release when I bought it (and had duel SIM slots, which was a requirement at the time).

Haven't had any issues with my Huawei and the camera and photo edit functionality is absolutely brilliant. I've changed some ok ish pictures into ones people offer me money for?!

Love Huawei phones. The worst phone I ever had was a iPhone. I had a Samsung galaxy which lasted 3 years and a fair amount of battering. The best have been the Huawei phones I have had. Brilliant camera on them.

I have a p20 pro and I love it. Had it just over 3 years. Can find any faults with it other than my microphone is going. Also interested in what phone to have next. Would like the same one again really!

Motorola have some bloody brilliant phones for less than £150 with batteries that last the whole day and days more. I never come home with less than 75% battery and I do stuff all day on mine.
G9 Power with 128gb storage and 4gb RAM. I love mine

The problem with my p20 Pro is that it is permanently complaining that I've run out of storage from those photos. I need one I can add storage to.

I went from one to a iPhone 12 and there is no comparison, the iPhone is so much better.

The battery on my Huawei was terrible. I got a Samsung m31 which has just needed a repair. Its OK but I regret not going for a moto g
They are the best of the cheaper end imo

I've gone from Huawei to a OnePlus Nord which is fantastic. Definitely a cut above the Huawei p20 pro I had before.

I had a P20 and loved it, couldnt fault it and camera was great.
Switched to a Samsung when contract was up as I was worried about potentially not being able to use Google stuff anymore with Huawei (probably needlessly).. Samsung phone functionality and camera is crap in comparison (husband thinks same having had Samsung and switched to a Huawei). however I don't know know which Samsung i have. Maybe there are better models.

Curious as to what's wrong with the P30? I have it and have had no issues bar maybe a poor battery (thought I was just using it too much!) but I'm absolutely not a phone geek. Many people have commented on the quality of my photos though.

Huawei was truly the worst phone I've ever had. I hated absolutely everything about it and it put me off ever getting another.
I have a Samsung and I'm much happier with it. I am considering a Galaxy Fold for my next phone but I think it may be a bit of a Goldilocks phone, too small when folded but too big when opened out.

that's weird about the photo storage @Keiki ...i have close on 5000 in mine and never a peep about storage! And I have the best resolution settings on the photos.

Also no bother with the actual phone itself, I'll probably upgrade to the newest Huawei when it's new phone time.

My battery is at 34% just now, I have made several calls, general fb browsing, and googlemapped from Edinburgh to Glasgow and out to Dundee, I don't think that's bad.

I bought my Huawei a couple of years ago. It's an Honor 10 and I'm really happy with it.
