I'm not saying I'm ever top of the sartorial pops, but just caught myself running in there and the ensemble is not flattering in any way Grin

I look fine Confused.

Reloxa · 29/07/2021 20:20

Grin i thought that the other day - pyjama bottoms, holey t-shirt, trainers that i shoved on so my heels were on top of the backs, no bra...my thinking is 'I will be just one minute' but do have a very quick check first to see that the neighbours aren't just getting out of their car or something.

Passthecake30 · 29/07/2021 20:22

I go out in my dressing gown and dps filthy slippers. Our house isn’t overlooked but I do a quick check for the neighbours!

WaterIsBest · 29/07/2021 20:22

Pjs, no bra 😂

BettyAndFrank · 29/07/2021 20:24

@WaterIsBest

Pjs, no bra 😂
Same here 😂

Yep, while painting window frames today . Son’s outgrown black and yellow I Am Batman pyjama shorts and ditto scarlet Atari t-shirt with old bolognaise stains and hem deliberately cut because his hips are slimmer than mine. Also, his outgrown sliders, complete with sharpied graffiti. Add blobs of paint and you get the picture. Sartorial elegance no but very comfy Grin

GoWalkabout · 29/07/2021 20:28

Yes I just caught myself walking up the road to Tesco with my bra unclasped so it was all wonky and adrift at the front. I had to stop in a quiet part of the road and do it up. Not my best look.

JorisBonson · 29/07/2021 20:29

I'm on quite a busy road and passers by have seen me in all manner of states stamping on boxes and gagging over the food bin.

On a slight off note, I wore some baggy-ish trousers to work and a t-shirt, and a colleague told me I looked like I was putting the bins out 😂

DownUnder87 · 29/07/2021 20:31

I had DH's trainers on without being tied and the heels down Grin Cheap old pyjama bottoms and a hoodie with holes in, hair scraped back and only the make up that survived today's mask and sweat.

It's a glamourous life girls.

I have to take my bins in the back of a truck and drive them to a main road! I can wear what I like as I won't see another soul!

I am living for the day my son is as big as me - a whole new wardrobe of tat Grin

I always put stuff out in the bins at night in my nightie and sliders. Sometimes my nighties have holes in them from cat claws. Blush I don't think I go out looking much worse.

DigitalGhost · 29/07/2021 20:45

My husband's been going out at 5am recently in his boxers after forgetting. Confused

LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow · 29/07/2021 20:53

I was out but in a nice nighty....I gave up shitty ones in a bid to Make The Best Of Myself, BUT then ruined the whole sexy housewife fantasy dream by throwing over the 1000wash white bathrobe (no belt so one side is clutched firmly under an elbow) and dh's garden crocs.

Nimo12 · 29/07/2021 20:54

This made me laugh so much!! I thought it was just me 🤣🤣

Teaandakitkat · 29/07/2021 20:57

I'm just back from the beach so I'm wearing a wet swimsuit underneath a damp t-shirt. Didn't want to have a shower then have to go back outside to put the bins out.
Honestly, if there was a service you could just call someone to come and do the bins for you when you look like shit I would definitely have used that tonight

Seesawmummadaw · 29/07/2021 20:58

I don’t get it? I just put the bins out in whatever I’m wearing. Just normal clothes.

YouthfulIndiscretion · 29/07/2021 21:00

Nope. I’m an owl so the bins go out at 10pm, maybe 11pm while I’m fully clothed before I have my evening bath. I’m not saying I’d be mistaken for Audrey Hepburn, but I’m wearing jeans and a T shirt and leather loafers. Getting the milk in in the morning OTOH….

Redact · 29/07/2021 21:01

This made me laugh as I often think the same. Put the bins out this morning, with PJs, old gardening crocs and my hair looking like I'd had an electric shock. I always do a quick check for neighbours too haha

Oblomov21 · 29/07/2021 21:02

Dressing gown and slippers. Isn't that the norm?

TooBigForMyBoots · 29/07/2021 21:08

Yes, I look worse when I bring the bins in.GrinBlush

I'm always fully dressed taking them out, but just out of bed and waiting for the kettle to boil, messed up when I bring them down.🥴

MrsJBaptiste · 29/07/2021 21:34

Every time I put the bin out (Friday night, not sure if that makes it worse?) I'm wearing shit clothes, no bra, glasses on and a pair of the kid's sliders... yes, I look a treat 😨

MrsJBaptiste · 29/07/2021 21:35

And a bus ALWAYS goes past when I just reach the path with the bin 😠

DGFB · 29/07/2021 21:37

Always look awful.. PJs or a dressing gown, hoping nobody notices

FogHornInTheAttic · 29/07/2021 21:38

Yes because I put them out the evening before. At the crack of dawn its not a pretty sight!
