Do you ever look worse than when you are putting out the bins?

I'm not saying I'm ever top of the sartorial pops, but just caught myself running in there and the ensemble is not flattering in any way Grin

My gardening outfit is basically my bin outfit but with added mud. PJ bums/leggings with a manky t shirt and some fugly but v comfy sketchers. Freedom day is actually a day of Lower Half Oppression since I can't go further than the pavement wearing my usual preferred lounge pants.

I tend to put the bins out when I let the chickens out so I'm usually in a long nightie and wellies!

I look my worst in the hairdressers mirror. So, that must just be what I look like, since it’s a mirror 😫

I put mine out very late the night before they are emptied, or in the early hours if I'm awake, so it's dark and it doesn't matter what I look like.

Ds put the bin out, it was quite late as we'd forgotten all night. I was watching from the doorstep wearing pj shorts, heard the cat running down the stairs so without thinking turned around and bent over to block him from going out. I just hope my neighbours weren't up, noone wants to see my arse shining like some beacon from the doorway.

I just ran out 10 minutes ago, PJs, sans bra, no shoes as I heard them going down the road and I had forgotten it was Friday!
They all politely said hello whilst I was trying to negotiate the big bin and cover my flailing boobs.

Ah. You should live where I do - a small cul-de-sac, one elderly man does all the bins! He calls it "bin duty" and takes everyone's bins out (correct colour) and returns them. He always looks quite smart in his trousers and pullover, though.
