Looking for some healthy snacks that are actually nice....

Lots of nice fresh fruit helps hit the snack spot for me - grapes, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, (nice) plums.
Hummus and peanut butter are high fat so you wouldn't be able to get a lot of them in a restricted-calorie snack - I'm not saying cut them out, just be aware and size the portion.
What helps for me is including hard-to-digest stuff - typically a salad with some raw crunchy ingredients, cabbage, celery, carrot, cauliflower, red onion - with meals esp. dinner.my body seems to then be kept busy digesting that and doesn't start whinging for snacks later on.
