I suffer terribly with anxiety. This Eve smoke alarm playing up, thought it was sorted but apparently not and a chap is on the way to fix it.

Thing is I’m very anxious generally and even more so with strangers especially men coming into my home.

Feel sick and dizzy. He will be here within next hour.

Help distract me?

Hand holding. Can you have a look at some fun MN threads? Depends on your tastes, but I have just wasted ages reading about the footballer Jack Grealish and why he might make an ideal spouse (mainly legs and hair). Grin Football

You will be fine, and the man is coming to help you; I bet he is lovely and courteous.

Thank you for replying. He’s been and gone but my adrenaline still going nuts! Trying to calm down.

Footballers not really my thing. What’s the other thread? I’ll have a look anyway

He looks like my ex! Well when ex was 30 years younger. Ex wasn’t exactly blessed in the brain department either

I had to go to bed, but I hope you feel calmer this morning.

I thought it was funny on the Jack Grealish thread that not knowing what an encyclopedia was could be a game changer, legs and hair notwithstanding.
