Why are you awake at this time?

2.15am. I'm sat in A&E for the past 10 hours.

What has you awake so late if you're in the same time zone as me?

Work hassle making my brain too awake.

I woke up at midnight with searing ear pain. It’s making a crackling noise, the pressure in it keeps changing. It’s making that side of my face hurt. A lot.

Been here since 4.30pm, like yesterday. Doctor referred me for a CT scan to check for a bleed on the brain

@pinkponkpunk Nope, not yet. I had Covid in January (thanks to my ex catching it at work and passing it to me via DC!) and was rather ill with it, and have seen the reports of people who have had Covid having “bad” reactions to the vaccines (I’m a Microbiologist but too fucking tired to write anything other than “bad”!), so I’m having to delay mine until the summer holidays. Because if I have a crap reaction, I’m fucked.

My daughter has been isolating from school for 10 days as a child tested positive in her year and even though she is doing online lessons she thinks it’s acceptable to be watching Netflix’s at 1am.🙁😡

Oh and my mum who lives with us ( she’s 84) just finished watching the Chase at 2am 🙄, I mean I didn’t even know it was on so late but it is and I believe back to back episodes from 9pm .lol
No wonder that Bradley Walsh is one of the highest earners on Tv.🤣🤣
And I’ve just made myself a cup of tomato soup .

I found out yesterday evening that someone I’ve known for years in a professional capacity is very ill with cancer.

She’s only my age. Nice woman. It’s knocked me for six.

My DP mum passed away today so it’s been a long day, he hasn’t settled yet either. Then some ignorant twats have just been blaring music out of their car outside his house for 20mins before I went out and bollocked them like I’d turned into my DM!

Nightshift worker and it's been ridiculously busy but it feels like time is going backwards.

I have a really painful shoulder and painkillers haven't helped. It is worse when I lie down. I suspect it may be trapped wind so any methods in coaxing farts out would be much appreciated!
