If I use the normal cream then it just wipes off my make up, what do you use with make for spf?

La Roche Posay Anthelios face fluid. Very good.

No 7 tinted sunblock SPF 50. I just add a little concealer around my hooter.

Heliocare 360 spf 50 color gel oil free

WeAreTheHeroes · 14/07/2021 22:48

Garnier facial spf50 spray over make up. I also wear it over Rozex gel for rosacea as strong sunlight makes it ineffective.

Sam bunting tinted gossamer SPF50

La Roche Posay Anthelios face fluid. Very good.
This 100% The best I’ve tried

La Roche Posay Anthelios face fluid

Then clinique city block spf 40 on top. It is a mineral sunblock and is brilliant

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 14/07/2021 22:56

Grüüm SPF 50 for face. It's very light and sinks in well

VanCleefArpels · 14/07/2021 22:56

Another vote for LRP Anthelios spf 50 closely followed in my estimation by the Heliocare airgel which is slightly tinted and a lovely texture

Heliocare 360 spf 50 color gel oil free
Love this stuff
Sanguinesuzy · 15/07/2021 07:50

Biore watery essence spf 50 beware of fakes however on Amazon.
LRP Anti helios spf 50 - both good - Sali Hughes did some good recommendations in the Guardian a couple of months back, both were mentioned and she's spot on.

Another vote for La Roche Posay Anthelios face fluid.

But what do you mean by it wipes off your makeup? Are you putting the SPF cream on top of your foundation?

I put the La Roche Posay on first, wait a couple of minutes, then foundation on top. It's brilliant - makeup goes on really well on it, and I've found I don't need any other moisturiser.

Theworldisquiethere · 15/07/2021 08:15

Those who wear it under makeup, how do you reapply?

Kjr33 · 15/07/2021 08:22

@Oblahdeeoblahdoe I tried the gruum but it seemed to pill like crazy! Maybe I should give it another chance?

I use evy mousse one it took a bit of getting used to the mousse and it’s quite moisturising so I’ve started using it instead of moisturiser but it lasts better than a lot of others in tests on water/sweat etc so I’m hopeful that means less re-application. (Have a look on lab muffin beauty for test info)

I also like biore watery essence.

For reapplication mists and powders are recommended for over make up.

You can get sprays that go over make up.
andadietcoke · 15/07/2021 08:36

I use the Glossier Invisible Shield one under makeup and then use the Hoola spray on top.

Coola, not Hoola!
OnOldOlympus · 15/07/2021 08:39

Another vote for the LRP anthelios fluid! LRP also do a spray designed for over make up, that’s what I use to reapply during the day. I have also seen people reapply by patting the spf into the skin so it doesn’t rub your make up off, but I’ve not tried that myself.

VanCleefArpels · 15/07/2021 09:02

I can’t imagine being outside in direct sunshine long enough with a full face on to necessitate reapplying!

I haven't found that. I like the small bottle to keep in my handbag but reading these posts have made me realise I need an over make up one as well.

@Sanguinesuzy where do you buy the bore? I've looked at several sites and they all seem to be scam selling sites.
MummBraTheEverLeaking · 15/07/2021 14:15

I had the LRP fluid for a while but I always ended up being super shiny even after make up, so am trying the LRP anti shine which is ok but I have to work it in quickly as its dries fast.

Any recommendations for sprays that go over make up? I don't currently use one.
