If I use the normal cream then it just wipes off my make up, what do you use with make for spf?

From another thread like this I got Frezyderm, am happy with it.

Found LRP too watery last time I tried but was a while ago.

ultrasun SPF50. You put it onto bare skin, wait 10 mins then carry on with serum, cream, make-up etc. it's one of the few cruelty free sunscreens, so I'm prepared to suffer a bit of faffing about.

also Ultrasun SPF50 here.

I use Hawaiian Tropic spf 20. Every day of the year (mostly because it's cheaper than actual face moisturizer but just as effective if not more so because of the sun protection), then a tiny bit of make up on top. It's amazing. I don't know why people bother with all these fancy creams and face spritzers or whatever. I can use anything oil and my skin is sensitive and it's still great.

Polkadots2021 · 15/07/2021 21:01

*can't use anything oily

Came on to say LRP! Not cheap but worth it , factor 50

Jackgrealishscurtains · 17/07/2021 20:21

You never have to buy La Roche Posay at full price though - either a 3 for 2 offer or similar, or just reduced. Never pay the full 18 quid for it! Also, it lasts a surprisingly long time for such a cute little bottle, even when you are using it liberally.

MistySkiesAfterRain · 18/07/2021 16:38

How often would you reapply LRP? I have just started using it, maybe applying twice a day. My face is turning into one joined up freckle. Not burned though.

@Cheeseandbiscuits1 yesstyle .com is a reputable site to try

name6785 · 21/07/2021 17:49

Charlotte Tilbury's primer which has factor 50.

VanCleefArpels · 21/07/2021 21:11

You need to use a specific spf not a product meant for a different purpose- you would never put enough product on

name6785 · 21/07/2021 21:21

@VanCleefArpels how do you mean? I used a primer with SPF on Sunday, was outside ALL day (Grand Prix Grin) I'm as pale as they come, and I didn't so much as tinge. I can get sun burnt driving a short distance...in March (actually happened..)

VanCleefArpels · 21/07/2021 23:24

This shows how much cosmetic product you’d need to apply for full spf protection - this video is why I bought a specific facial spf product!

Seasidemumma77 · 22/07/2021 00:10

No7 spf50, make up on top

name6785 · 22/07/2021 08:13

If they didn't work I would burn, I'm very susceptible to burning and even a 15spf BB cream protects me (but don't tend to use in summer as can't reapply and I wouldn't trust it all day) the primer worked brilliantly though.
