I have just found the divergence association task, which purports to measure creativity. My score was 90 point something 🙂

96 using longer more obscure words such as gemstone names etc

Down to 42 using food such as cake, tart etc

If you use very obscure words, it dumps them from the 7 it ranks you on.

It appears never to have heard of either zeugma or litotes

I've just scored 75.44 by using cars - jaguar, fiesta, mini, escort etc.

I've had another go and managed to get it up to 98.99, higher than 99.92% of the people who completed the task. MN has managed to tweak it to get 0.0%, someone here must be able to get 100%!

37.26.with zoo animals. Can't get any higher than my original score though.

The lowest score was 24 and the highest was 96 in our published sample

I tried household pets and got 48.06 so very impressed with 37.26 for zoo animals. Cat and dog had a score of 20 whereas hamster and gerbil had a score of 25 so to get 24 overall must need as much creativity as getting over 96!

I give up. A set of synonyms and I'm still above 40!
