Please can you help me decide on baby name Otis?? I keep going on and off it but my 3.5 year old is adomant his name should be Otis! Also thinking about Tommy. I’m 37 weeks pregnant.
What’s your thoughts?

In my accent it sounds a bit crap- ‘oh-iss’/‘oh-diss’ we don’t do the letter t in words, how’s it pronounced in Yorkshire? Thomas or Tom is nicer IMO

Brian Ferry called his son Otis.

Tom/Thomas. Don’t like Otis or Tommy. But it’s your baby, call it what you like.

I don't like it as it reminds be of the aardvark of cbbc but obviously you can name your child whatever you like.

I quite like Otis. I much prefer it to Tommy. Though I think my preference would be Thomas with Tom as a nickname.

It isn't a name I'd have chosen but it's a million times better than Archie, Alfie, Freddie, Wilf, Harry, Ernie etc.
