Hello, I am hoping someone might have made the trip recently and be able to offer some advice- I haven't been able to get all the answers online. We are going shortly after the 19th July, so I know there might be some rule changes before we go.

  1. Do children under 6 have to quarantine at the named address? They aren't required to get PCR tests - I assume they do have to quarantine.
  1. Is it legal to get a taxi or bus from the airport to the address we will be quarantining at? We may not have a lift.
  1. We fly around noon on a Tuesday. Getting quite anxious about finding a qualifying PCR test. The test has to have been taken within 72 hours prior to arrival, so we can't take it before around 2pm on Saturday. Which means it won't make a Saturday post. Which means can't post till Monday- won't be back in time for Tuesday. Anyone flown on a Tuesday and found a solution?

Thanks!

@Funkmaster how long before your flight did you arrive at Stansted?

Our flight was v early, 6am. We arrived at airport for 3am but we always need lots of time at security due to various medical issues and medicines. The queue at the check in desk for ryan air was the longest, multiple destinations all with varying covid requirements, lots of people disorganised with paperwork. Good luck!
