I should be tidying up/ cleaning but it’s very hot so I’m sitting with a glass of Rose instead. DH is going out to work for a couple of hours then we’ll have tea ( battered fish, chips & peas). I might go out in the garden with the bunnies.DD12 is holed up in her room as per. Looking forward to lunch out with DM tomorrow. We haven’t done anything like that for ages, partly due to Covid & partly because DM hasn’t been well enough. Going to a lovely pub in her village.

I'm knackered. We're waiting on takeaway food being delivered.

DH and DS are building a raised veg box, I’m heating up the oven ready to do dinner and on MN with an eye on a box set.

I am about to get changed to go and do a bootcamp in the park. DH is listening to the radio but is about to cook miso chicken for dinner. DS1 and a friend are watching a film after coming back from a hike. DS2 is out on the town, partying with old friends.

Dh is cooking dinner, I’m having a glass of Lugano wine, the weekend has started for us!

DS2 is watching the gruffalo, DS1 is making a train track amd I'm waiting for the pasta to finish cooking.
DH is on the train home I think.

It’s so muggy here, I’m boiling!

DS is playing Zelda, I'm on the sofa rubbing my feet (wore new shoes today). I'll go and make a tomato/garlic sauce for meatballs in a minute.

I'm sat waiting for my stepson to arrive so we can go out for dinner, it's become a regular thing every few weeks that we have some grown up time with dd1 too and catch up.
Dd1 is upstairs as is dd2
Two ds are at Thai boxing.

Ds1 is outside playing football with his friends. Ds2 is in his room making dh watch him play car racing because he's bored and fed up. He's on his second isolation stint after only being back at school 3 days. I'm on here bored too. Such fun in our house 🤣 maybe I'll join you in a drink.

Me - providing a comfy seat for 3 year old and mumsnetting. My book has been beside me, ignored, for about half an hour.
Been driving around here and there all day and just want to sleep but going to Pilates in a bit, ugh!

Bedtime for the toddler, meatloaf in the slow cooker for me later while I watch Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. Hot here too. (S Yorkshire)

I'm cooking PON pulled chicken with cherry Coke. We are sitting outside, I'm contemplating a glass of wine . DS 12 is in the pool and been in there for 2 hours. Will have dinner about 9pm as it's still very hot (Spain) and I'm actually starving now .

Dd is asleep on the sofa and ds is asleep upstairs. I've cooked, washed up and walked the dog and I'm now watching Come Dine With Me whilst on MN. I should be amending the online shop.

I’m in Cornwall

I’m sitting on the couch eating a Kinder Bueno while I wait for the oven to heat up for the kids fish fingers.

DH is working late. Hoping he will agree to takeaway.

Kids are outside playing in the garden far too noisily for my liking.

Proku how do you find Duolingo? I’m considering signing up to learn Italian.

I’m laying on the side, DH rubbing my feet watching a horror movie. DD’s are in their room waiting for cake - it’s my birthday today - and messing around on tech.

@CurryLover55 - Duolingo is good for revision of the basics - currently it only goes up to A2 in most languages, and for getting a basic vocabulary of new languages - but I found it neccessary to do Babel as well. Italian is one of the more developed courses and gets you to a good start. For grammar explanations you still need to use the website and you need to download chrome if you want to use the speech recognition feature.
But it is great fun!

On shifts at the moment so just woke up, having a bath and browsing mumsnet and amazon. Dh is making breakfast for me, dinner for him.

My son is in bed, apparently my story voice was rubbish today so he took himself off to bed, oh well, no complaints from me.

Me and my husband are going to watch Loki and then have a sodoku competition, wild.

Just finished early tea. Dog walked and getting ready for the online zoom quiz. Now been running 16 months, 5 or 6 teams each time plus hosts (we choose alternating hosts). I'm amazed it's still going but it has been incredibly successful, especially in winter. We all look forward to a drink and a giggle.

I've been playing car tetris with the camping paraphernalia. I had room until I bought self inflating mattresses. Taking up far too much valuable wine space. Stressed. It'll all fit but will have to open doors with extreme caution.

Massive lasagne cooking in the oven now, made enough to freeze and that will be our dinner when we return a week on Saturday, full of sand and shattered.

I love camping, really I do!!
