Or anyone - your friends kids / nieces / nephews / grandchildren?

I refer to my baby as "little potato" (in my Spanish: papa pequeña).

What silly or sweet nicknames or terms of endearment did you start using?

When saying goodnight to ds2 though I add on wee extra bits to make him laugh, tonight he was "sweet and sour angel fish stinky pig" 😂

DD is Squidge or Squidgy McGorgeous. She seems to like it and adds middle names for herself.

We also sometimes call her Moomin - she misheard “human” as Moomin and announced that she was an independent Moomin age 3.

DD is Sausage or Saus. It's what my Mum called me when I was little.

DS is Tada (Sanskrit for mountain). Started as a joke, as he was premature and tiny, and it is like his name.

I was known as Wally Wombat (or The bottomless Pit) throughout my childhood. I still get the occasional call of "Wombat" in my thirties Grin
I promise it is a term of endearment not an insult. No idea where it came from.

lilyfire · 03/07/2021 09:09

My middle son is called Small. His older brother was a huge baby and he’s always been smaller in comparison but is now 14 and 6ft. He doesn’t seem to mind though.
