I'm freezing!

I'm doing a course all day on Teams at work and I've just put my fleece underneath my jacket. Even my feet are cold and I've got work boots on.

I'm toasty. Mind you, I am under a heated blanket.

I gave in and put the heating on. It's 12 degrees here today and I am already wearing a jumper and thick socks.

Hot water bottle here.

Yep, wearing a winter jumper that I’d packed away.
It’s raining. I need my fleece on under my raincoat.
Resisting the urge to put the heating on to dry out my shoes.

Miserable.

Freezing cold, gloomy grey sky, constant rain and 12 degrees! Late June? What a joke. I'm back in socks, long woolly cardigan and if I could be bothered to go out, I would put my coat on. Heating has been on most of the morning. It's just stupid.

My admittedly dodgy memory seems to think the weather always takes a downturn at the Summer Solstice

Yup. I had the heating on this morning, went out in my winter coat and am wearing a jumper.

And DD2 is kayaking today with her DP in the Lake District - both of them badly sunburned!

Yes I'm cold too. It's my birthday today and I've never known it to be 13 degrees on my birthday. It's normally always warm and Sunny, except for my 18th where it rained all day.
I'm at home and my nose feels so cold.
