DS3 has legged it to work
The other two DC's will hopefully surface in a bit so we can take DH out for some Father's Day treats
Nothing planned other than I did say I'd cook whatever dinner DH fancied and he's asked for a roast
Bit damp and dreary here

I've just stuck a crossiant in the oven for my breakfast. Dh is in bed ill ( probably the same thing I've had for the last week ) ds had toast and cereal and is going away for the day with his grandparents to a lego exhibition.

Don't have anything planned for today was waiting to see how I was feeling. Torn between a lazy pamper day and getting out for a walk to breathe in some fresh air ( chest infection )

I have also come back to bed with a cuppa after getting up early with 2 year old and letting DH have a lie in. Shame said 2 year old has decided to join me and climb all over me, already had a squashed boob and fingernail to the eyelid! Good job I love him 😂

Don't miss the early rising toddler days one bit

Been up since 6.30 trying to get dim dog to go out for a wee.
Also, trying to sort out DD and her C19 issues.
Just about to go for a shower then put a load of washing on to hang out inside.

Also in bed with coffee and MNing. Cat curled up beside me. I’m going to have a pottering day. Predicted to rain most of the day so will probably just stay at home.

Been awake for a while but CBA to get up. 5 more mins... need to get washing on then hit the laptop before I get engrossed in anything other than the paperwork I have to do.

I’m on the sofa, teen DD still in bed. Started browsing Facebook then stopped when I realised it was Father’s Day. My dad died almost 4 years ago and I still miss him so much. DD has never had contact with her useless father. Can’t go out anywhere as I’m self isolating so will just be pottering around today, watching the football and distracting myself from the fact that it is Father’s Day.

Kids are all asleep. My Dad is out walking my dog! Me and DP are onto our second cup of tea in bed. The gardens looking loverly and there's a cool fresh breeze.

Busy day yesterday, so no intention of getting up until at least 10. Watching carry on cowboy in bed supping tea until then There was a promise of a roast later for fathers day but I think that's gone out the window

Also in bed with a mug of tea whilst my husband runs the dog. Our youngest is home tonight for a few days pampering, which is nice. Means a day of checking bed is made and aired and ensuring we have oat milk in.

Back in bed with tea after feeding the 3 cats and dog. Ds has a match and dd one later. Was hoping to visit my DDad later, he lives around 80 miles away but I just can't find the head space to do it so feeling a twinge guilty over that.

Up since 6 with 10 month old DD, who is just taking her first steps - very cute but lots of tumbling, it’s not like the good old days when I could chill on the sofa, we’re running about from the moment we’re awake!

DH has just restarted London marathon training for the third time (please don’t let them postpone again!) so he’s just back from a training run. Will do first Father’s Day card and present when he’s out of the shower. American pancakes were his pick for breakfast so will do those too.

Then quiet morning before heading to my parents’ for a late lunch/early dinner at about 4. My sister will be there too, she was on a hen do yesterday and isn’t a big drinker so I suspect she will be feeling a little delicate. I plan to ruthlessly tease her if she is

Been for a brisk 1.5 mile walk this morning uphill.

Just getting toast and coffee for dh for Father's Day and trying to drag teen up to get ready for work.
Other dd still asleep.

Fed the dogs emptied the dishwasher and folded a load of washing from tumble dryer.

Dropping dd to work then off to see my dad with his Father's Day gift.

Promised dh we will endure b and q for him this morning as it's Father's Day

I woke up early with AF cramps. DH then started coughing (he has a chest infection) and he woke up the toddler. I made DH go back to bed so DS and I have been watching CBeebies since 5.30. I have eaten quite a lot of chocolate already this morning.

Morning. I've just made a big mug of tea. Sat with toddler downstairs while he has his Weetabix watching blippi. DH opened his card and presents in bed, he's upstairs with the baby, it sounds like has fallen asleep (baby not DH, can hear him watching YouTube). Weather looks grey and drizzly here. Shame as it was lovely yesterday.

I've just woken up which is a stinking lie in for me, and I've not even got kids!

Feeling really well rested and up for the day. Am going to go for a run then go to the bakery for a breakfast treat. Then settle down to a day of work at my desk which I'm weirdly excited about! Got a new job and just want to get stuck in.

Dd2 is at her boyfriends, DD1 is still in bed, she's going to work at 1
DH still in bed, I'm have a cup of tea and toasted brioche. I going to make bolognese this morning to drop round to my mums.
My dad is very ill in hospital so my brother and neice are flying over from England today and mum is flapping about what to feed them.
DH is going up to the hospital with her today to give me a break.
I'm going to watch old Sewing Bees on iplayer.
to all those missing their Dads today.

I've been away for a couple of days with DH celebrating our wedding anniversary. I'm having a cuppa in the hotel bed whilst he snores contentedly next to me.
I'm getting peckish, so breakfast soon.
Later we'll go home and dinner with DD who's been home minding the dog.
I've a lovely break and don't want to go home.

What does everyone do if they are having a pamper day?

DH wants to get Mcdonalds later since we're not going out for father's Day. Only trouble is I'm on a diet, started calorie counting monday. I just had a sneaky step on the scales and it says -2lb 😀🤫 so I need to not get anything too high calorie from McDonald's. Maybe a Mcchicken sandwich (no fries) and a mini mcflurry would be okay.... (around 500 cals) I'm also gonna skip the bread for this morning's bacon sandwich and have poached egg instead. I want to join in but don't want to undo all my hard work this week

DH is away at barracks this weekend so we won't see him until tonight sometime so no Father's Day things here this morning.
The DCs are sitting about watching cartoons and relaxing and I'm about to make coffee number 3 of the day as I had a rotten sleep.
I have to wait in for a contractor to come round later to discuss a quote but then hopefully off to my dad's house to see him for a while.
It's such a dull, grey morning that I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to move! Feels very much like autumn has snuck in a preview day.

Having coffee on the sofa, beside a snoozing dog. She makes very sweet little snores every so often. Watching Homes Under The Hammer and ignoring the list of DIY jobs we have here. It is overcast but dry here. DH is still asleep but I think the plan is to clear the back garden and do a run to the dump. Glam.
