Thank god it's Friday. I'm completely zonked this week, so glad it's over.

How was everyone's week? I've got a poorly littlest DD (not covid if the LFT test is anything to go by), so I'm expecting a sleepless night. Obviously if her symptoms change I'll take her to the drive thru test place - quicker than getting a PCR through the post. She had positive covid in January and you'd never have guessed she was poorly at all. Going by that I'm thinking this is a summer cold by the sheer amount of snot she's producing 🤢

I came up to bed super early with a bottle of wine and some leftovers from the Mexican I made earlier.

It'll be a quiet weekend here, gardening, mostly, weather allowing.

How are your dd and dgs doing now that they are home, Wilde?

We're supposed to be going to a bbq tomorrow. Weather's not looking very positive...

Lucy they're doing just fine, DD is healing well and baby wilde is just perfect. So far he's slept through til 5am every night, feed, then asleep til 9!! Thanks for asking

I have had a busy day with 3 friends over for lunch, meeting our DS, it was fab, felt just like normal times. and now I am exhausted, waiting for the dishwasher to finish so I can start the second load....

Got a bit of work done, saw a friend, and England won. Overall, a great day. Hoping to catch up on the sleep that DD robbed from me last night.

Morning all, bit of a crappy weekend with little one not well. Think I've picked it up as well so yay! Nice little workout for the immune system I guess. And at least it's not covid again.

Settling in for a cosy day of Netflix/Prime/shouty YouTubers, pjs, lots of cuppas and likely a takeaway later. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

@Zing - I saw you on another thread mention a blanket you made. It was very cool. My M"IL" is bringing me a sewing machine when they visit in 2 weeks and I'm so excited. I've always wanted to learn - but been too intimidated to learn.

Evening all, lazy day has done us all wonders actually. It's been a hectic couple of weeks. I think I was just a bit run down, coupled with hay fever. Even little DD is brighter tonight.

We had Pizza Hut for dinner. I'm not the biggest fan but I was outvoted 🤣

We cooked together and he had bought all the things he thought I would like (I have a particular diet) he was really thoughtful.

He really does seem like a good one but I'm too scared to think it too much. I reckon I've gotten so used to the idiots I'm not sure what to do lol.
