Anyone else had changes to their cycle after the covid jab and want to compare notes?

I had the Pfizer on Day 8 of my cycle and currently 2 days late (BFN this morning so apparently not pregnant).

Anyone else?

I've had my first dose of Pfizer.

My next period came earlier than expected and with a different sort of pain than usual. It was a prolonged ache rather than crampy, I didn't realise what it was until the bleeding started.

It was also ridiculously heavy, with flooding, much worse than usual.

Watching with interest, had pfizer 1st jab jan second 10 weeks later. Period usually clock work, was 2 days early last month and today it's 5 days early.
Much heavier than usual, I thought possible peri-menopause too as 42 yr old, but maybe not.

I had Pfizer and my period was more than 2 weeks early. A 12 day cycle that month, when usually a very regular 28 days

Yep. Period arrived later the same day as 1st Pfizer, 5 days early. This next cycle I was 7 days late, with awful cramps. I am regular as clockwork usually, I have reported.

I hadn’t had a period for around six months (menopause) but 6 days after my second dose of AZ I had a very heavy, painful period which lasted around a week.

I'm usually a regular as clockwork 30 dayer.

1st vaccine - i missed a period completely! Gap of 62 days between the one before vaccine and the next period arriving. Unheard of.

2nd vaccine - i came on 2 days after vaccine. This was day 15 of cycle. So 2 weeks early!!

Yes i should have added, when i came on 2 weeks early it was totally symptomless. And i usually have hunger, cramp on the day, sore boobs bloating and irritability. I had none of these.

Following on from my previous post my second period has around 8 days early - always regular as clockwork so thats 2 periods that are out - im also much more crampy

Mine was 4 days late. I'm waiting on some fertility blood test results and assuming there's nothing in there to explain it I'll yellow card it. I think the last time (other than pregnancy) my period was late was in 2009 when I took the MAP.

OMG....this is me too. Have had SO many periods in 3 months after the AZ as well as spotting too. Periods are so unbelievably heavy with clots. Went to ED once because of the volume. Have never had anything like it.

Had Pfizer 1st dose and haven't ovulated this month which never happens. Currently in my 10th month of unsuccessful TTC and feeling really upset and worried that this might means months of disruption given that I haven't had the 2nd dose yet.

@RaspberryThief I haven’t ovulated this month either after Pfizer. I had my vaccine a week before I was due on - had the weirdest cramp all week prior. Period normal is but a couple days late. 4 days after period ends I’ve got brown discharge again!

I was fine after my first vaccine but about a week late after my second.

I’ve now just come on after 5 days of stopping - period has restarted. I had 4 days bleed free.

I’ve had both doses of Pfizer, both have made my period late. The first was heavier when it finally came, I’m still waiting for the second.

After first dose of Pfizer I got my period as normal 10 days later.

I had my second dose on day 22 of my cycle, then got my period on day 34. It’s been really light - 2 days of bleeding but about 5 days of really gross dark red/brown discharge

I missed my period completely after the first jab and it was a week late after the second I've never had a missed or late period before so I'm pretty sure it's related to the jab!

Had second dose on 12th July, first cycle 2 weeks early but second cycle very mild. Completely forgot about the cause is vaccine .

Interesting - I was just mulling this over today!

AZ, double jabbed, had about 4 periods since the first jab. Periods still pretty much on time (tbh I don’t really think a day or two late or early is much to write home about) but my flow has definitely changed! Before I’d be:
Days 1-3 - v heavy
Days 4-5 - mid heavy
Day 6 - light
Day 7 - light to stopping

Now it’s:
Days 1-6- very heavy, no discernible difference
Day 7 - stopped

I also normally suffer from horrendous period pains (throwing up and legs giving way at their worst) but now barely any pains. I also usually get very weepy and depressed in the two days before starting, but not so much now - hardly noticeable

I usually get 7th day very mild and first day very heavy. This time very very light on first day. Didn’t affect after first dose AZ but got headache like migraine

I'm glad I clicked on this, I've been wondering what's going on with my periods. Since my 2nd AZ jab I've had really heavy periods and loads of stop then start and a whole week of period pain when I've just finished??? Just completely bizarre and nothing like what I'm used to.
